🤦🏻♀️The most common mistake made after a slip up on a diet:
👀Y’all keep looking back as if starving yourself is going to make it better- or you just say “F* it” and you get off track for a few more days.
🙈But it lowkey throws you off for a few months- I’ve been there too!
🙆🏻♀️So how are you supposed to treat your week after a ‘cheat’ happens?
😎Don’t look back...
....and stop calling it a cheat. It’s just eating. Do you schedule out days to cheat on your significant other every week? (Maybe you do, idk)
But why would you do that with food? It’s not cheating, it’s just eating.
Here are a few (of many) tips to getting your ass back on the tracks. #ChooChooMF
🚂 TIP 1: Eat your first meal later in the day to curb your appetite if you feel like binging again.
🚂TIP 2: Make sure you hit your protein goal!
🚂TIP 3: Load up on volume foods to curb appetite... these are also known as low cal veggies.
🚂TIP 4: Chill the f*ck out.
⚡️Not all is lost, so don’t lose your mind. And stop judging yourself for not being perfect- I’ll tell you right now that you’ll never be perfect if that makes you feel better!

Do you ever eat a meal that is so damn good that your eyes close and the rest of the world melts away? Yup, me and this lasagna @donangienyc
had one of those moments 😍
That same night I scrolled thru my insta feed and saw several of those side by side posts comparing zoodles to pasta and pointing towards 🥒 noodles as the better choice because “less carbs!” 🤦🏻♀️ Look, if you enjoy zoodles as a way to eat veggies, awesome - go for it! But if you’re using them as a pasta substitute, and a way to restrict carbs, this is no bueno 🙅♀️ Because it’s this type of diet mentality and restriction that causes you to feel out of control around food, to have lots of cravings, to overeat and binge, to feel like a failure. You have permission to eat REAL pasta 🍝🍝🍝whenever you want.

When you come home for lunch. I can literally eat pasta everyday of my life. I love making pasta with fresh ingredients. Had no time to go to the market , pantry ingredients are quick and delicious. Petite diced tomatoes ,crushed peppers, with basil and a hint of cream. Took me literally 10minutes. Now time for a nap 😴 #napafterlunch #pastaforlife
