collection is off to a great start 🥰 —𝒞
Life is for growing 🌱 mornings in the garden with @jessbod
🌵 coffee in one hand (mochas because when we’re together were still kids at heart) secateurs in the other ✂️ cutting away, digging deep, making way for new growth 🌻 ⠀
April 24: Administrative professionals day
Are you more of a cactus or a succulent person or do you love them all? 🤔
Philodendron Goeldii 🌱 The structure of this plant fascinates me, all its leaves are made up of finger like individual leaves that are actually all part of 1 leaf 😳 how extraordinary!

is sick guys. I found an aphid on her new growth not too long ago and have been treating her back to health ever since. She lost two of her bottom leaves in the process and is okay now but until I see new growth, I’ll continue to worry. I’ve only ever dealt with mealy bugs and spider mites and have been able to help my plants recover from those.
Please let me know if you’ve dealt with aphids and how to get rid of them!
That morning sun though 🙌🏻
The plant room:dining room switch around happened. Bring on many winter days in here 😍
A nice and lush plant shelfie for this gloomy Melbourne day. The secret to having healthy and lush indoor jungle plants is to have more than one! And by more than one I mean more than 20. Have them all huddle close together and they will offset humidity and keep each other happy. It's the same principle as penguins keeping each other warm during winter.
Spent a lovely morning at @mappinsnursery.
They didn’t have any particularly rare plants (for sale) that I was looking but I was happy with these box of cuttings I bought, each at 70c only! I would love for Sydney nurseries to sell cuttings too! That variegated one is a Euphorbia Milii (Crown of Thorns) swipe to see a massive mature plant that was on sale for like $70 :) 🌱
I have also been admiring the Variegated African Violets that @so0tie
posts from time to time so I had to bring one home each for @maihaven2018
and I, just ‘cos we were chatting about them recently :))) 🌱
See my story / Highlights for a Mappins tour!

My favourite find from last weekend's plant shopping spree was this beautiful and cute Alocasia Tiny Dancer. I literally had it written on my plant wishlist last year before I decided to get rid of the list and just let life surprise me. I thought my list was kind of unrealistic because I didn't think I'd be able to find any of the plants on my list in Canada, or at least, not for anything less than an arm and a leg. Well, I've never agreed to pay $20 for a single plant so quickly in my life, hahaha! I love Alocasias but I don't have much space for them since most of them grow huge. The Tiny Dancers only grow up to 14" so it's perfect for my home. I also have a thing for weirdo plants and Alocasia Tiny Dancer actually won the award for "Most Unusual Aroid" at the 2009 International Aroid Society Show. It's a legit weirdo! I love it! 😍 Of course I had to name my Tiny Dancer Tony Danza because, to quote Elton John, "Hold me closer Tony Danzaaaa!!!" 🤣🤣🤣 I hope I can keep this baby alive and happy for a long time! Oh, I'm also so in love with the pot. It's made in Japan and I thrifted it for a grand sum of $1. 👌

We have to make this planet green again. Did you know that the color of the heart chakra is green? 🍃🌾💚
Snapped a photo of this before sending it off to my giveaway winner @tifyane
yesterday. It’s always particularly hard to say good bye to these ficus triangularis variegata. Being one of the most sensitive and finicky plants of mine, they make sure that I’m so emotionally attached to them as I care for them one day after another 🧡
This Monstera Deliciosa was taken as a propagation from our big Monstera. It has always had 2 big leaves and unfurled a smaller one during water propagation. Well after almost 6 months adjusting to the potted life it has a new leaf about to unfurl! It's also starting to get a tad root bound, time to size up the pot!
