As part of the year-long festivities of Loyalsock Creek's selection as the Pennsylvania River of the Year on Saturday, August 25th Worlds End State Park will host Worlds End Day! Worlds End Day will be a day-long celebration of Loyalsock Creek with many events and hands-on activities for visitors. Volunteers are needed to assist the event's organizers, The Middle Susquehanna Riverkeepers, and park staff with greeting visitors throughout the day, handing out information sheets, helping exhibitors set up and take down their stands, and cleaning up after the event concludes.
If you are able to come to the park and volunteer for an hour or two please let Kyle Fawcett know by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyone interested in volunteering should be registered with DCNR's Conservation Volunteer program. If you have not previously signed up with Conservation Explorer you can do so at https://www.volunteers.dcnr.state.pa.us/index.aspx.
