I love being a girl... just not a girl with #pcos
❣️can some change that for me please? 😂The other night I had plans - but, my body had a different agenda. A cyst decided to rupture - leaving me sick and unable to do anything for the rest of the evening. The best way to describe it is - you feel like you are repeatedly being punched in the gut. Also - my glute injury doesn’t help... it’s like everything in the same area all at one time! ❣️Having hormonal issues since I started my period at 9 years old - I once had someone close to me say “get over it” and “get use to it”. PCOS is already a very lonely condition and it makes it even more challenging when the ones close to you lack empathy. I’ll sit here today & say, I don’t think I’ll even get use to the pain. But, I guess like all pains in life - it will work to make me stronger 💪🏻 (if you struggle with this -DM me)❣️Through all of this- I will work HARD to manage my PCOS as best as I can & work to help other women through @peachesfiguresalon
manage their health too. This is not a condition that needs to be dealt with alone & it’s unique to every individual. Proper nutrition, training and healthcare management. Women’s health is overall serious - and as a women’s coach and trainer, I felt it’s my obligation to talk to my clients about their hormones & pelvic health - even if PCOS isn’t something they deal with❣️Yesterday I posted a photo of my blood sugar & that’s one thing I have been closely monitoring in managing my PCOS. With this, I’m thankful for the mentorship & education from @colettenelsonofficial
- making my continued progression and advancement possible. I know I have a lot to learn, but I’m grateful for her teachings & guidance. One day at a time! I’ve been saying that a lot lately! Like, PCOS - life will change your plans. We learn to adapt, grow and most importantly - overcome.❣️If you’re in the #Seattle #Olympia
