Training athletes towards a specific objective for repeated high results is a unique beast trainers and coaches face regularly. ⠀
When asked, the goal of most athletes is simply this - to win, plain and simple. And as a trainer we must respect and honor the reality that often times what an athlete must go through in order to prepare to win boarders along the lines of not being healthy, especially at an elite level. ⠀
That being said, the key here to explore deeper is “how” we prepare. For without an individualized assessment, sound training, and healthy body-mind self management, enough vitality to create sustainable results will be hard to attain.⠀
If we can strive to design training programs with intent, know who it is we’re creating for, and focus on balancing the body first, then results will likely reflect higher performance for years to come. ⠀
Dancing at this show was really hard, but he played a huge part in my artistry, so I think of it as a tribute to him. He would have wanted me doing what I love to do.
This serves as a reminder to keep up with your friends and help them if they need it.

Everyone who collaborated on that show did our good friend proud. He was definitely still there with us.
I still think about him every day and I hope he’s in a better place.
You’ll be missed, big guy. ❤️
This show in particular was a very special and emotional one.
It was to celebrate the life of my once lover and best friend, William Graham @willywonkyvancity.
He had so many friends, and was so loved. Doing this show is still so surreal to me. However, everyone came in the best spirits they could and celebrated our friend.
One of my favorite ladies in the San Francisco drag scene, @bionkasimone , serenades you right on out of your dollar bills every time!! If you ever see her name on the bill, you know it’s gonna be a good time!
