These pictures were taken about 11 months apart. I talk all the time about just starting or being consistent and persistent or having the perseverance to push through any obstacle in your path, but I know all too well that those are sometimes ‘impossible’ tasks. It’s pictures like this, that are a sanity check for me, that show me the hard work that I have accomplished. It tells a story about literally hundreds of hours in the gym, thousands of miles on the treadmill, thousands of reps. It tells the story of hard work and determination and grit and mental fortitude and sacrifice etc etc etc. But there are still days I struggle, still days that I’m not happy with how look. Because the person you see every day in the mirror dulls you to the changes that actually taking place. Sometimes it takes a picture like this or someone you haven’t seen in quite some time to remind you of the changes you’ve actually undergone. Don’t be so hard on your self. Relax. The work is worth it and over time it will get you to where you want to be. You can do it! PISSED.....😡😡😡😡😡 Some dude found my debit card inside the fuel station literally 30 seconds after I dropped it!!! It had about $250 on it.... He tried keeping it, even though he was caught picking it up and everything!!!

Haven’t done that in a while due to my injury... Hence mobility shoulder work was necessary, including internal rotation, flexion and horizontal abduction. It felt good and definitively helped my for my workout... (still did not do any overhead workout). THIS IS SO IMPORTANT GUYS! Especially for injury prevention and flexibility. Enough talk....

Carefully trying upside down stuff in my little yoga corner. I have been stretching and babying my shoulder all week, and it held up well here but it wasn’t exactly errrrr smooth... Couldn’t get my legs together, each attempt ended in a solid foot high five with the wall. Try try again.

Since I don’t quite have a free standing handstand yet, I keep trying different things until I find what works for me until I get the darn handstand. The more I’ll practice them, I’m sure I’ll get them faster. Just like results.
