Hey everyone 👋🏼. It’s been such a busy week! I was telling my mom yesterday that I’m working more hours than I worked at my full time job! 😮 For those who think having your own business is about relaxing by the beach with your laptop - you are in for a rude awakening🤣. But guess what - I don’t mind this one bit!!! I love being busy with work I actually care about. What a blessing! Happy Friday! ❤️
I can do anything I put my mind to.
Comment 'yes' if you know it's true! 💋💋

I’m mad at ENOUGH. Are you?
Here’s a prickly truth: ENOUGH is selfish. ENOUGH says “If I could JUST ______, then I’ll be happy/content/safe/worthy/etc.” ENOUGH is a lie. We weren’t created for ENOUGH because it doesn’t leave us anything to be generous with or to invest in others or our future. ENOUGH is a dead end. It’s LACK that got a little bit excited.
You were made to PROSPER. I’m not talking about those crazy, ridiculous definitions of prosperity that involve scandal and moral failure. Here’s my definition of PROSPERITY: Walking out the purpose for which you were made, with the power and resources God is providing in real time, and receiving all the upgrades he’s left for you along the way, with gratitude.
It’s not just about money, y’all. It’s about any resource you NEED to fulfill your purpose and enter into your destiny. ENOUGH ain’t gonna cut it. You were made for MORE THAN ENOUGH.
I’m currently working on the online version of my Positioned to Prosper course. This course, which I’ve facilitated for hundreds over the last ten years, is designed to go after limiting mindsets (like ENOUGH), and it CHALLENGES you to BELIEVE bigger so you’ll SEE bigger in your life. Sound like something you need to get ahold of? What limiting mindset around resourcing (or money) has got to GO?! Tell me what it is and I’ll make sure we address it in the course. 🌵
We’re getting close to the end of the year. We may or may not succeed in getting our credit card debt 💯 paid off, but the best part of this debt free journey isn’t actually being out of debt, it’s learning to accept that all things happen with a healthy dose of grace, and it’s equally okay if you pay off your debt this paycheck or next or one next year. The journey and even the destination isn’t about being debt free; it is about living intentionally and being honest. I’m proud of myself and I’m proud of my partner and our teamwork and hustle, but also our grace with each other and ourselves and our circumstances, whether they are in our favor or not. #babystep2 #debtfreejourney #debtfreecommunity #personalfinance #budgeting
There’s a lot of resources and hacks to help us be more productive and efficient. Apps and advice abound in our world. While reminders are good and tools to shave a few minutes off a recurring task can be helpful, we often overlook the obvious. Sometimes the simple answer is the best one. The television can be a huge time eater. There’s more channels and options than ever before. Statistics show the average American will spend over twenty hours a week watching television. We've all heard the term ‘Netflix bingeing’, and most of us are probably guilty at some level. When someone reflects on their life and wonders where ten years have gone, this may hold part of the answer. You have a destiny to fulfill. Kill the tube. Start now and come away from the pack. moneyhouse.us
I can’t believe I added debt while on BS 1. 🤦🏾♀️ Lesson learned! My feelings are really hurt lol but I can’t blame anyone but myself. .
1 Credit Card down, 1 to go 🙃
Still not happy about making this payment but I kept my promise. Adulting sucks. 😭 Thanks for the encouragement y’all. I WOULD NOT have done this by myself. Y’all are appreciated! ❤️
How’s your Friday going? I want to go home and just ball up in the bed and go to sleep 😂 .
Oh and if you’re wondering why I’m whining over $350, that’s almost half (46%) of my take home pay this biweekly pay period. 🙃🙃🙃

Jesse is the saver. Always has been, always will be. He likes coupons and buying generic. I love him.
I, on the other hand, am a natural spender! I used to be so fancy. Remember, I’m the gal that sold my whole Louis Vuitton collection to move along our debt-free journey. I was addicted to buying high-end makeup, Target was life, and so was Amazon.com. Internet shopping was a real addiction for me. Cars, vacations, nightclubs, clothes/shoes - you name it, I had it (on credit/debt). Not anymore though! I’m a changed woman, but I will drop some serious (budgeted) cash at Costco!
Neither of us are free spirits. We’re both wound up pretty tight. We’re intense!
I am the money nerd. Well, just a big nerd all around. I love spreadsheets, numbers, counting money, tracking/measuring, reading, learning, and budgeting (now). It gives me great joy to clean/organize and to balance/reconcile our bank account.

Who’s the spender and saver in your house? Who is the nerd and who is the free spirit?
This was (quite frankly still is) my dream car 🚗Welcome to Car Buying Part 1🚗
When I bought my first car I was very excited. It was August 2014 and I had my eyes set on a Camaro SS just like the one above!
However, I knew nothing about saving or car buying.
I was fortunate to even have the opportunity to test drive and start the paperwork on this bad boy. The exhaust sounded perfect, the body skirt and window tint was definitely a nice touch
Then I found out the car payment... $380 a month.
At the time I was working a low paying job, was convinced I could pick up more shifts, or get a second job to afford it. My goal was a $300 payment
No idea how I got that number I just knew that's what I wanted to spend. So going over it meant I would have to step my game up. "Now we'll just need a copy of your insurance" my brother said... My what?
Turns out my insurance payment was going to be $420 if I drove this off the lot. $720 a month for a car!!! My first car at that! When I brought home way less than I do now 😳
What was I thinking? Thankfully I didn't go through with it.
I got my brand new 2014 Cruze instead. (still a mistake)
For $336 a month and $225 insurance
In a way I was defeated, but the excitement of a brand new car was exhilarating enough to keep my mind off of it
And the clutch made me feel cool in my little 1.4L Turbo😏
Working out doesn’t have to mean committing to an expensive gym membership. 🏋 In today’s uber connected digital age, there are TONS of free and inexpensive resources out there to help us find a fitness routine that we like and want to stick to! This photo shows how affordable fitness can be. Live your best life without spending a fortune ❤️
Today, I completed day 11 of @FitnessBlender
’s 4 week workout program: #FBStrong
. If you haven’t already heard of FB, they’re an amazing, down-to-earth husband and wife duo with a YouTube channel offering HUNDREDS of FREE workouts for every fitness level, training type and workout length. There is literally something for everyone!!
Rather than search for a new video every day to try, I wanted structure so I bought one of FB’s 4-week programs which line up the videos on a schedule for you, so you know exactly what workouts you’re doing in advance. No hunting! Cost: $9.99 for the month - a steal for a thoughtfully planned workout program created by two professional trainers. The best part? I can do it at home, be as loud and sweaty as I want to in privacy, and save time commuting to and from the gym.
I'll still go to group fitness classes here and there for the motivation and comradery, but I love having this affordable, convenient option!
Do you workout with any YouTube trainers? How do you get your fitness in?

So, this last couole weeks i have been particularly interested in finances and investiments. I have some money that i saved over the last years since i started working and i am at some point of my life that i am starting to have my life organized. I have a stable job, i have bought my house at the begining of the year and now i plan on investing my money. Banks in Portugal are not giving any relevant interest in savings, so i am seeking for some alternatives. One of them in Mintos. I have made a lot of research before depositing some money, but i read no bad revews about. So i deposited 50€ to stard. I have been using for two weeks and i am already impressed. Basicly, mintos is a peer-to-peer lending platform where you can participate on other people's loans and you get a percentage of that. Most loans available have a BuyBack Guaranty that protects you in case someone doesn't pay in 60 days. Have you tried it? I have an expected interest of 10.50% wich is wayyyy more that i would get in the bank. I plan on deposit some money every month to increase my earnings. Check out mintos if you haven't and earn extra 0.75% of your deposit: www.mintos.com/en/ref/L1BH8D
