Geeezo anybody else think Perth City is sooo confusing??? 🏙Lovely skyline and #kingspark but glad to be back in our room after walking and busing what seemed like the whole city 😭😭 Kept getting lost but eventually got dropped off to our hotel door by the bus driver 😂😂 Have to say everyone was so friendly and helpful! #33degrees#city#travelling#Perth#wa#citylife#australia#travels ☀️
Along with over 110,000 people yesterday I went along to the open day to the new Perth Stadium. As with anything like this the political and media hype is not always one to be believed. This was a time reality far exceeded expectations. On arrival at the train station the sheer size and spectacle was inspiring. Walking the grounds around the stadium was a very much unexpected thrill. The grassed areas, parkland and public facilities will make the surrounds a destination in itself. Well worth a visit even if you have no interest in the stadium itself.
The time had come to go inside and the expectation was now peaking. It has been what felt a lifetime to get to this stage. Now its here that wait was worth every minute. The sheer joy and wonder as everyone around you simply smiled and could be simply heard saying wow. This is a truely incredible stadium and one Perth should be very proud of.
Simple words, photos or videos can not do the Perth Stadium justice. From what was likely the most photographed day or event in Perth's history the excitement for the next event was evident on everyones face. No matter the event to be held get your tickets early and enjoy the show. It will be worth every cent.
My only complaint is the current government selling the naming rights to spite the previous governments approval of the place in the first place. They should be ashamed of themselves putting petty politics over major international and national promotion of the City of Perth. I will and many people I have spoken to refuse to call it anything other than Perth Stadium.
Along with I would think everyone in attendance yesterday I can not wait until I go back to Perth Stadium. It's going to be huge Perth. Enjoy the show.
Rottnest was great again!Congratulations to Craig, Michael, Hollie, Josh, Mark and Mia for successfully completing their Open Water Diver course yesterday under the watchful eye of Instructors Abby Krause and Vincent Rhodes! We look forward to seeing you back in the water in the near future!
