For those of you that know me well enough, you would know i have had my fair share of body images issues. . For years I'd eat to reward myself, then excersise or stupidly reduce my calories to then punish myself. Because of my past relationship with food, I've always stopped myself from "dieting" in fear I'll go back into my old unhealthy ways. . After the past two or so years of living a balanced lifestyle and really focusing on myself and my relationship with food/my body, I've finally decided to see what's underneath. Yep, I'm doing a cut and do you know what the crazy thing is? . After a month in a tiny calorie deficit I've leaned out, my strength is improving and I've still been finishing my days with a bowl of jelly and icecream before bed. #icecreamislife . You don't need to massively restrict yourself or spend every second trying to burn calories, just be smart about it and don't be afraid to get some help.

... ... • TODAY IS A GREAT DAY • ... After a crazy couple of weeks juggling 🤹🏻‍♀️'MUM LIFE' with my daughter's being unwell with ear infections --> surgery --> recovering post surgery, today is their first full day back at day care 👶🏼👧🏼 ... I am honestly so grateful that I have created my business which allows me the flexibility to look after them at the drop of a hat (this is hugely important to me to fulfil me as a Mum) and that I can still work but I have been doing it it around them (nap times and late evenings) but honestly, it has been a BIG couple of weeks trying to juggle it all 🤯 ... For the past couple of weeks, I have had two hour windows of 'GO TIME' to get my to do list of calls, emails, posts and workshops done in that allocated time and I have been able to make it work but gosh, today has been a very rewarding day of having a little more time up my sleeve... I have even made a cuppa so I can sip and work at the same time #goals ☕️ 💻 ... It is amazing how we make use of the allocated time we have and sometimes we can be even more productive in a short space of time? Does that happen to you too? 🤔🤨 ... So I am feeling on top of the world today 🤸🏻‍♀️as I am ✔️ off my list 📝like a mad women 💃🏻 ... I often pretend the banana is a phone but I don’t think my girls appreciate my #mumjoke 🙈 so I thought I would try to make you laugh.... Your reaction is your choice. . Almost everything is a choice. Every time you make an excuse, remind yourself that it’s a choice that you decided to make. And the next time you wonder why you’re not getting the results you want, remind yourself that it’s because you made your own decisions to prevent you from getting there. It’s all up to you.

Nutrition tip - eat slower. One of the first things we teach at box 33 is to eat slower. The reason we teach people to slower is it creates more awareness around how much you are eating, what you are eating and it starts sending messages to other parts of your body you are eating. So today eat slower - Put your fork down between bites Have a sip of water between bites Don’t eat in front of the tv Time yourself today. Let us know how you go with this little exercise.
