The dog on the first photo is Ruki. He wore his best shades yesterday (matching with his owner) to catch the attention of his future wife, Bella. 😂 (Swipe right to see their first meet up haha) #yaspettogether#PetLoveStory
#storytime - This is a photo of me and our lovely cat Flower Daisy. I wanted to tell the story of how we ended up taking her end in.
I often get asked how we got her. It was pure chance but on some level I often think about whether Flower chose to be adopted by us.
A really good friend of mine was Flower's care giver. I popped round one day to visit her. She was playing with my friend's son who clearly adored her. Then out the blue she came to sit on my lap. I was a bit taken a back because I always loved cats but had never one sat on me before lol.
My friend told me they needed someone to look after her in a few months time permanently due to some unforeseen circumstances. It was then that she directly said "Would you adopt her Soma". A few months later we did. I remember the first day we brought her home she was a bit naughty lol but within a few hours of getting her I had fallen in love with her 😊. Flower is so friendly she has even managed to win round some of our family and friends who don't like cats. I am properly being a bias here but she has got me through some really emotional times.
In 2015 when I was really depressed she would get on my lap every day and cuddle me for more then 5 minutes not sure how she knew I was so depressed but she did.
Then earlier this year when I went into hospital and was so ill she kept watch over me every time I was crying in pain.
Animals are so precious and beautiful. I never knew a fur baby would bring us such unconditional love and taught me so much about love 😊. What about you? Have you got a pet who has brought happiness into your life and changed it. Would love to hear from you?
