Pharmacy notes turned into vivid images, making it easier (and funner) for me to remember. Going to be drawing the inside of the banana temple pretty soon... #pharmacyschool #notedoodles

Your girl likes to eat 🐷
More food = more energy = more muscles = faster metabolism = even more food = ☺️ Yeah I was way leaner on the left but I had no curves and I just looked like a skeleton 💀 first you have to eat all the foods and build the muscle underneath so that when you do get lean you can see it! It doesn’t matter how lean you get, if you don’t have muscles under there you will never achieve the “toned body” look. So excited for when I decide to get lean bean again to see all the muscle I’ve been building 🤓 Stay patient!! Stay the course!! You’ll get to unfold a masterpiece in the end 👏🏼
Today, we would like to wish our Brother Adrian Manuel Morera a Happy 27th Birthday! This visionary has brought so much to this chapter as he is our very own Secretary, Historian, Webmaster, Graduate Relations chair, Resolution Committee Chair for Fall 2018 SEP Assembly and Advertising Chair for the next SEP Assembly in Spring of 2019. He has brought new elements to each role and a great deal of improvement for each of them. He started this Instagram account, revamped our Facebook like page and main website while creating social media campaign strategies to ensure that the local and national community knows what are chapter is accomplishing. He also made the cover of the first ever special annual report issue of the MASK and has increased the amount of times we are displayed in the magazine from his exceptional photography skills. We see his potential to grow and can’t wait to see what else he will accomplish. Wishing you the best of luck and we know you will do great things in pharmacy. Just be sure to continue staying true to the four pillars of our fraternity and extending the good name of Delta Upsilon. God bless and take care! 🎉🇺🇸💊👍🏼📚

Man flu haul! I’m discussing #manflu

Our student pharmacists are lending a hand at the last @UHSMadison
flu clinic of the season! They're protecting the campus and the community, one immunization at a time. (Thanks to third-year PharmD student Elizabeth Langenstroer for making sure @UWBuckyBadger
won't be missing any games!)
What’s the most important part of the formula?
🤷🏼♂️ The Attitude, it multiplies (positively or negatively).
We don’t choose our friends or partners for their skills or knowledge. We choose them for their attitude, the way they are.
We don’t appreciate our bosses for their title, but for the way they are.
Maintaining positive attitude isn’t easy though. Life doesn’t always go the way we imagine. Sometimes we have problems that are out of our control.
However, there are 3 good reasons why we should maintain our positive attitude:
🔸 It is not natural to be in a negative state all the time.
🔸 We don’t deserve staying in the negative state.
🔸 Your state of mind is within your control and it is your own responsibility.
We live in an environment where everything goes so fast that we often forget what is essential in our lives.
What can we do to keep our spirits up and maintain our positive energy?
🔸 Focus on what really is important.
🔸 Learn to differentiate between problems (circumstances that can be solved) and dramas (life tragedies).
🔸 Practice gratefulness. Sometimes it is good to just stop and reflect on all the things that are going good in life.
🔸 Develop kindness towards the others.
We cannot always choose our circumstance, but we can always choose our attitude. This is the ultimate freedom that we have. This separates the mediocre from the great.

The Copper Serpent is a brand dedicated to celebrating the people of medicine. With a bias for historical accuracy, and a foot firmly planted towards the future, we specialize in jewelry for doctors and other medical professionals.
A highlight of our business was to be chosen as the jewelry of choice for both Season 1 and Season 2 of the hit show, The Good Doctor. Dr. Glassman and Dr. Andrews both wear our Rod of Asclepius Lapel pin during their administrative duties on the show.
The Rod of Asclepius takes its name from the Greek god Asclepius, a deity associated with healing and medicinal arts in Greek mythology. Asclepius' attributes, the snake and the staff, sometimes depicted separately in antiquity, are combined in this symbol.
The AsclepiusBowl of Hygiea is one of the symbols of pharmacy. Hygiea was the Greek goddess of Health hygiene, and daughter of Asclepius. Hygiea's symbol is a cup or chalice with a snake twined around its stem and poised above it. The bowl of Hygiea has been used as a symbol of the pharmacy profession at least as far back as 1796.
The Greek capital letter psy/psi is often used to represent the word, or study of, Psychology.
We hope our jewelry helps serve as a momento of achievement, a graduation gift worthy of the blood, sweat, and tears that you put into one of the greatest accomplishments of your life!
