Day 17: corner.
My creepy, dead eyed pop vinyl collection. I need more. Zoro's next on the list.

I always say I’m not going to do Match Attax but I can never resist his little face 😍 totally got me wrapped around his finger 🙄😂
Something's gotta give.
No, we can't have it all. We can't have our cake and eat it too. We either just have it or we eat it. And such is life.
Nothing in life comes free with no strings attached or without any sacrifice from someone or of something.
We can't build that awesome body without sacrificing something for it, like working out that extra hour. We can't lose that weight without sacrificing something for it, like not eating this awesome chocolate cake plus working out that extra hour.
Ultimately, we must always sacrifice something. Something gained is something lost. Something lost is something gained.
The benefit of either losing or gaining depends on our priorities at that particular point in time. And our priorities reflect our choices. Our choices reflect our values.
So, what are your priorities today?

Tuesday. At work we have some new hires in town from our Amsterdam office. One of them happens to be Ukrainian! 🇺🇦 We had already worked together on a translation project, so naturally I kidnapped her over lunch and took her to the Eastern European food store for a taste of home.
This is my friend Steve. I want to be like Steve when I grow up. Steve has not yet grown up. Maybe I won't either. I'm good with that.
Jan 17 - Started reading my script today. Didn’t get very far before realising I still know it pretty well from last time!
16/365: we live in a condo. Sometimes it’s hard for me to understand that not everything gets approved as far as common area repairs go. So this is the hallway I come home to. Been like this since we moved here in April of 2017. #photo365
Any chance it’ll fold itself?
Monday. The first Monday after a weekend at their dad’s, getting off the bus and arriving home.
May we never lose our wonder.
Landon is super pumped for Winter Jam. Every year we prep, we plan, we listen to all the artist's that are coming, bc what's a big concert without knowing every word to the songs (what just us?) Landon loves every artist that is coming this year. And knows every song already...but there is one song that he will stop whatever he is doing just to belt. .
GOD'S NOT DEAD by Newsboys. Since he was 3 years old. This was the song he would sing to. Drum to. Dance to. He wasn't vocal at all most days but he would BELT this song. Top of his lungs. He is literally that kid that will "sing until the whole world hears". I wanna live like Landon. Be in awe of everything like Landon. I cannot wait to worship beside him March 22 in Raleigh. #lensoflove365

Icy Pallet. Day 16 #photoeveryday #photo365
A short walk outside into the below freezing temps following two days of freezing drizzle brought me to a pallet in my back yard. The first day of sunshine reflected off the pallet ice and made for some nice bokeh balls in the background.... presumably from ice drops on the twigs.
I wasn't excited about the photos as I took them, but I had a few to choose from. This made the cut because it was the most unique.
What can I say .
We’ve had the most amazing 27 days in New Zealand.
Ending our adventure in the South Island we lived the campervan life for 18 days .
My beau drove just over 2000 miles, travelling in a Mercedes Benz 2 berth self contained camper - which basically means you can poop, pee, sleep , shower and cook quite comfortably and we did 😂
We swam the most glorious waters - Golden Bay, Lake Arnaud and Milford Sound to name a few .
We ate more ice cream and sampled New Zealand gin.
I added to my list of birds , flowers and trees.
The South Island is equally as stunning as the North and we had the very best weather.
I couldn’t possibly pick my favourite place as everywhere we’ve travelled has been equally as beautiful as the last, just different.
I’ve loved every minute we have been here.
Discovered things I didn’t realise about myself and couldn’t have wished for a better person to share this adventure with, my very best friend .
Whilst at Lake Matheson we found the words below which kind of sum up how we both feel about this awesome country.... •
Once in a while
you may come across a place
seems as close to perfection
as you will ever need.
And striving to be faultless
the air on its knees
holds the trees apart,
yet nothing is categorically
thus, or that, and before the dusk
mellows and fails
the light is like honey
on the stems of tussock grass,
and the shadows are mauve birthmarks
on the hills.

I’m skipping Sunday in my 365. I did actually take a few pictures, but they were just snapshots. It was the perfect lazy, snowed-in day that did not involve picking up my camera.
