I'm 75% through the 30 day ab challenge with @lexi_lou_206 and there's definitely some results! It's hard see to a change until you compare where you are now with where you started, but every day makes a difference! It's easy to say you can't do exercise because of a multitude of reasons (I'm currently healing from a severe and prolonged leg injury), but you can find something that works for you. It's definitely tough and I'm pleased it'll be over in 7 days 😂 But we'll be picking up another 30 day challenge after and I think I'll throw some abs in there while we do it (maybe day 10). #30daychallenge #abchallenge #beforeandafter #thenandnow #physicalactivity #injury #activelife

Zapewne nie 😅 Ale pamiętajcie, że poniedziałki również mogą być przyjemne 😊😊 Musimy tylko odpowiednio się nastawić i dostrzec również te pozytywne strony początku tygodnia, poniedziałek to idealna okazja, by np. wprowadzić pewne zmiany w swoim życiu, takie jak choćby zdrowsze odżywianie 😉 Tym bardziej teraz kiedy idzie lato i każdy z nas chce się cieszyć jak najlepszym zdrowiem oraz sylwetką 😊😉 Miałam Wam przedstawić jak spędziłam wczorajszy dzień, ponieważ zamiast roweru wyszło znienacka coś innego... A mianowicie była to piesza wycieczka na Święty Krzyż znajdujący się kilkanaście km od Kielc 😊 Kilka kilometrów na nogach pod górkę w cudownych okolicznościach przyrody, las, świeże powietrze, a docierając na szczyt najlepsza nagroda - piękne widoki ❤❤ Polecam takie wycieczki z całego serca, nie trzeba jechać daleko w góry by się wyciszyć, odpocząć, przemyśleć pewne sprawy 😊 Uwielbiam jazdę na rowerze, ale ta wycieczka była równie cudowna, dla takich widoków warto ❤ Polecam taką formę aktywności również osobom, które z reguły unikają ćwiczeń i treningów, bo taka wycieczka to połączenie przyjemnego z pożytecznym 😉 PS. Today was a tough day for me. So many people I love chose not to support me and my dreams. I have craved the acceptance of others for so long that it drained me mentally. Safe sporting participation in children is vital in keeping the youth active. Statistics show that only 30% of the youth in America get the recommended dose of physical activity (according to the CDC, 2016). This is a PROBLEM❗️ . Youth athletes between the ages of 8-14 who participated in more than 1 sport or activity demonstrated greater neuromuscular control than peers only participating in only 1 sport. These findings support prior recommendations to discourage sport specialization in these youth athletes. Children who have improved neuromuscular control at a young age may have a reduced risk of musculoskeletal injuries. . The problem with specializing in a sport early is high risk of burnout, social isolation, overdependence, and increased risk for injury. Children should NOT specialize before adolescence for BOTH psychosocial and physical reasons. . Understanding the impact of sport specialization and sport sampling on neuromuscular control and injury risk will optimize prevention efforts through enhanced, informed sport participation recommendations and promote long term physical activity. . Based on the literature regarding the effect of sport specialization on injury history, it is hypothesized that youth athletes who participated in more than 1 sport during the previous year, and throughout their life, would demonstrate fewer landing errors or better neuromuscular control than those who participated in only 1 sport. .
