Most Frequent Command in the Bible - Part 1 When you think about all the “do’s and don’ts” throughout the Bible you probably think of... Do not lie, do not steal, love your enemies and so on. All are certainly Biblical and applicable today but yet none of them are repeated with that much frequency. There is one that is repeated far more times than the others... “Do not be afraid” This appears in the NIV version 70 times. There’s several interesting things about this, first off the Bible isn’t saying “There’s nothing scary so you don’t need to be scared” Because let’s be real... life is scary sometimes! That however does not mean we need to be scared of it. Secondly, the command “do not be afraid” is followed by an action that God is or will be taking. Check out these verses 👀-> Exodus 14:13, Deuteronomy 3:22, Joshua 10:18, Luke 12:32. Another interesting thing is that 10x “do not be afraid” is followed by “do not be discouraged” Pretty cool in my opinion 😄 To be continued...

Feel free to vary the depth depending on your symptoms 🙌🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Patella tendinopathy often presents as pain localised just under the knee cap, associated with load that increases with demand on the knee extensors (quads). It can be common in sports such as basketball, volleyball, football and tennis as these require the tendon to repetitively store and release energy. If the tendon is loaded beyond its capacity or recovery/ rest period isn’t sufficient then these symptoms can develop 👎🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Rehabilitation can often be slow and frustrating at times therefore it’s important to see a physiotherapist that can thoroughly exam the knee and identify biomechanical and other risk factors that need to be addressed 💪🏻👌🏻⛹🏽‍♂️🤾🏾‍♂️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let us know how it goes!

Preparar a comida em casa parece ser fator determinante para a obtenção de resultados satisfatórios, seja em emagrecimento ou hipertrofia. O preparo da comida em casa está associado a um melhor padrão nutricional, pelo menos essa é conclusão de um estudo realizado pela Universidade Americana Johns Hopkins (Holfson et al, 2014). No citado estudo, foi verificado que famílias que preparavam o jantar em casa com maior frequência consumiam menos calorias, carboidratos, gorduras, açúcar, fast food e comidas pré-prontas, e isso estava positivamente associado com uma melhor qualidade nutricional. ⠀ Então que tal se organizar? Separe um dia específico do mês para fazer compras  grandes, mais 1-2 dias da semana para comprar frutas e verduras. Reserve algum momento do dia para preparar os lanches que comerá e os leve em uma bolsa térmica. Se não tiver tempo durante a semana, faça no fim de semana… use freezer e congele alguns alimentos prontos!
