I’ve been on a strawberry kick this week! Strawberries are one of my all-time favorite fruits. I can’t get enough of these sweet juicy amazing berries😋
Not only are strawberries delicious, they are loaded with Vitamin C and anti-inflammatory antioxidants which have been associated with lowering the risk for chronic diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disease🌟
I pumped up this smoothie bowl’s nutrient power with @navitasorganics

1 Frozen Banana
1 cup fresh strawberries
2 tsp. Navitas Organics Pomegranate powder
1/2 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk
1 T. ground flax seed
Double or triple ingredients when sharing.

🚨🚨Recipe: Yield 4 Burgers
1 cup grated zucchini (about one small/medium zucchini)
½ cup pecans, minced (measure after mincing)
1 – 15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 Tablespoon flax meal
1 Tablespoon tamari
2 Tablespoons tomato paste
¼ teaspoon liquid smoke
1 Tablespoon miso
½ cup panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 Tablespoons dried minced onion flakes
¼ to ½ teaspoon red pepper flake
¼ teaspoon ground mustard
¼ teaspoon coriander
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon sea salt (+/- to taste) *
As i sit here on a Tuesday morning before 8 AM sipping on some #prepre

Today, I wanted a classic chick'n salad, but VegNature style ! ;-)
I used a mesclun mix and then added tomatoes, mizuna sprouts, green onions and a creamy spicy sesame vinaigrette ! For the creamy vinaigrette: vegenaise, sesame oil, lemon juice, jalappeno peppers (but not too much) and some dill. Easy ! Serve with a Gardein Scallopini grilled with VegNature seasonned whipped butter! Tasty and humane !
Aujourd'hui, j'avais envie d'une salade classique de végé-poulet, mais façon VegNature ! ;-)
J'ai pris le mélange mesclun auquel j'ai ajouté tomates, pousses de mizuna, des oignons verts et une vinaigrette crémeuse au sésame épicé ! Pour la vinaigrette crémeuse : végénaise, huile de sésame, jus de citron, piments jalappeno (mais pas trop) et un peu d'aneth. Tout simple et on sert avec un Scallopini de Gardein grillé avec du beurre fouetté aux épices de VegNature ! Savoureux et sans cruauté !

Living with the intention to show up with your most authentic self every day is a powerful statement. Taking new and different action steps every day that support the change we wish to see in our life and the world is what actually contributes to the desired outcomes. We are all a part of the culture and society we so often criticize. So we need to realize that our own daily decisions create the world we are living in. Currently our collective choices are destroying the natural world around us that is actually enabling our survival. But if we have the power to destroy these valuable ecosystems, we also have the power to save them and help them regenerate and replenish themselves. The power lies in our decisions of how we choose to live our lives.
What we put on our plates for every single meal matters a lot. Supporting animal agriculture means supporting deforestation, desertification, pollution, fresh water depletion, ocean dead zones, inhumane working conditions and unimaginable suffering of billions of sentient beings. We are better than this. We know better than this. And it is time to do better than this.
Whole plants have everything our bodies need to function optimally. I made some corn and spelt tortillas, filled them with brown rice, stir fried veggies, tomatoes and a hummus sauce. And they were delicious.

CHICKPEA FOCACCIA | Good morning beauties! New breakfast idea straight out of the oven. Plant-based and gluten free, this will keep you well nourished until lunch. You can top it up with anything you like. I love it with mashed avocado, salmon or almond cheese and tuna. Chickpeas are a wonderful source of protein and sesame seeds are great for enhancing your iron, calcium and of course fibre levels 👩🍳
📝 Here’s what you need 🛒 ~
600 ml of still water, 250 gr of chickpea flour, a pinch of salt, two teaspoons of origano and two tablespoons of sesame seeds. .
🔗Whisk chickpea flour and water together in a bowl until smooth; alternatively blend the flour and the water into a blender. Let sit at room temperature, 2 to 6 hours.
Preheat oven to 200C.
Skim foam from the top of chickpea-water mixture. Add two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and the origano and stir until combined. Pour mixture into a tin; sprinkle the sesame seeds and salt over the top. Bake in the preheated oven until edges begin to brown, about an hour. If the focaccia is not cooked thoroughly leave it in the oven and lower the temperature until ready. Remove it from the tin and cut it into wedges. Enjoy! 💜

I used to LOVE icecream and Hot fudge Sudaes. I gave up dairy along time ago because of dairy allergy and I'm vegan now.
But dang!! I miss hot fudge Sundaes. I need a Vegan version.
Raw vegan salami currently in the dehydrator along with the sausage roll wraps. Pregnancy brains got me good forgot olive oil at the supermarket so I can’t quite finish making the raw vegan honey mustard sauce so that will have to wait until partner can bring it home after work. Boy do these smell good though. 🌱

The answer is Custard apple, also known as the cherimoya or sweet-sop (so many names for this fruit!) 🍏 It’s shiny, black seeds are also not eaten as they are slightly poisonous.⠀
Gerst of parelgerst is iets wat ik nooit eerder had klaargemaakt. Maar vandaag is de primeur: parelgerst pap met bosui en peterselie. Ik geef toe: het vraagt enige voorbereiding (1,5u kooktijd) maar daarna heb je wel wat. En ‘wat’ is in mijn geval energie en geen honger! .
Gerst is een graansoort en staat bekend als:
-veerkrachtig en voedzaam
-werd vroeger gebruikt om gezondheid/vitaliteit te herstellen
- en het overschot aan eiwitten en vet af te voeren
-en om de huid van ongeregeldheden te reinigen
-omdat graan uit meervoudige koolhydraten bestaat worden de voedingstoffen trager opgenomen waardoor je suikerspiegel in balans blijft en het hongergevoel enige tijd wegblijft.
