It's definitely gotten me into some heated discussions throughout my life but I want to believe that's how we (or at least I) learn. Drama I avoid to all costs, but constructive discussions are healthy and interesting. How boring it would be if everyone always agreed with one another. Happy 🧀 #nationalmacandcheeseday 🧀 I enjoyed having a comforting plate of creamy vegan mac and cheese made with boiled potatoes & carrots.😋 . . Here's the recipe: INGREDIENTS: - 2 cups gluten free or plain maccoroni -1 cup peeled/diced yellow potatoes (or russets) -1/4 cup peeled/diced carrots -1/3 cup chopped onion -3/4 cup water (preferably use liquid from pot of boiled veggies) -1/2 cup raw cashews -1/4 cup coconut milk -2 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes -1 tablespoon lemon juice -1 teaspoon salt -1/4 teaspoon garlic powder1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)1 pinch paprika & let's not forget about tumeric INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cook macaroni in boiling water until al dente, then drain, and set aside. 2.Bring several cups of water to boil in a small pot. Place chopped potatoes, carrots, and onion in the boiling water, and cook for about 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and soft enough to blend. 3. When veggies are soft enough to blend, use a slotted spoon to remove them from cooking water, and place them in your blender. 4. Add 3/4 cup of that cooking water to your blender, along with your remaining ingredients (including cashews). 5. Blend until smooth. 6.Pour sauce over your cooked macaroni noodles in a dish of your choice, taste for salt, and serve immediately. 7. Or, place macaroni mixture in a baking dish, sprinkle with bread crumbs, and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, or until crumbs are turning golden brown. That doesn’t mean sacrificing your love for food and taste! 1 cup coconut butter 2 tbsp coconut oil 1 scoop protein powder Vanilla essence 1/4 cup carob powder Soften the butter with the oil, add vanilla and all the other dry ingredients. Shape into balls and coat some in coconut sugar and some in carob powder. Store in fridge and enjoy! These are so indulgent and moorish. Aber warum eigentlich genau❔ Das werde ich oft gefragt… Seit ich 9 Jahre bin (also 28 Jahre schon esse ich kein Fleisch/Fisch mehr. Als Kind habe ich grausame Bilder von Tiertransporten in einer Zeitschrift gesehen und wollte nicht mehr, dass Tiere für mich leiden🐖🐄😢 Ab da habe ich immer gesagt "Ich esse nichts, was mal Augen hatte." Meine Mutter erzählt mir heute noch, wie schlimm es für sie war, mich völlig am Boden zerstört zu sehen, so dass sie selbst seitdem kein Fleisch mehr isst <3 Tatsächlich erst 2014 wurde mir dann bewusst, dass ich als Vegetarierin NULL KOMMA NULL daran ändere, dass Tiere für mich sterben. Für meine Eier werden jährlich 50 Millionen männliche Küken durch den Schredder gejagt, weil sie eben keine Eier legen. Sie zu mästen bis sie schlachtreif sind ist nicht rentabel, also weg mit ihnen. Die Legehennen müssen stattdessen unter schlimmsten Bedingungen im Akkord ihre Eier legen, um am Ende als Hähnchen geköpft zu werden. Für meine Milchprodukte (Milch, Quark, Käse, Whey- und Casein - Proteinshakes) werden den Milchkühen ihre Kälbchen, für die diese Milch gedacht ist, direkt nach der Geburt auf brutalste Art entrissen. Männlichen Kälbchen werden dann als Babys schon ermordet für Kalbsschnitzel, Kalbsleberwurst usw. 👈Und ich wollte doch nicht, dass Tiere für mich leiden. Aber sie sind wegen MEINEM Konsum von Milchprodukten als Abfallprodukt der Eier- und Milchindustrie gestorben. Conclusion - 2.1 kilos, a few centimeters, always paraphrase, better body feeling, better digestion, firmer, much energy, more desire for sports, more desire to cook and better digestion. I know it's a little heavy on carbs. I ensure you you can maintain weight if you cut down on portion sizes. DO NOT OVERFEED YOURSELF WITH ANYTHING ALMOST EVERYTHING CAUSES WEIGHT GAIN. Callorie count : 500 . . . Baked chickpea nuggets 👇 -1 15.5 oz. can chickpeas, drained -½ tsp salt -½ tsp garlic powder -1 tsp granulated onion -1 Tbsp and more for topping bread crumbs or panko⅓ cup bread crumbs or panko for coating Instructions 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2.Pour the drained chickpeas into a food processor and process for a few seconds. 3.Then add all of the other ingredients except the last ⅓ cup corn crumbs for coating. 4. Process a few more seconds. Everything will be well mixed and chunky texture.Scoop up teaspoon sized globs and roll them into balls then smash them into nugget shapes. 5.Pour bread crumbs into a bowl and coat each nugget. 6.Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper. 7.Lay each nugget on the parchment but don't let them touch. 8.Bake for 20 minutes, then flip and bake for 10 more. 9.Allow nuggets to cool before eating. #glutenfree #paleo #dairyfree #crueltyfree #feministfriday 👇 . Make time to spend time together as a family round the dinner table. Everyone in our family has really busy lives and sometimes feels as though our house is a train station! That is why Shelby and I feel that we often need time to slow down and catch up with everyone in our family after a crazy day. Usually this is only for dinner but since we want to spend as much family time as possible we did it this morning to for pancakes. •3. Tell the people around you how much you appreciate them! I feel like I definitely don’t tell the people around me how much I appreciate them enough! By the end of this month I hope all the people I value in my life know how much they mean to me. How I served today's 🌮 #tacothursday 🌮 Buddha bowl with a little pita bread flare instead of rice on this stormy day to comfort my soul🤗 . . Made with Mixed greens, diced cucumbers, avocados slices, stir-fried fajita veggies seasoned with garlic, onion, salt & chilli powders, cilantro, olive brushetta, microwaved corn & lentil dip. Made with cooked lentils that I pureed with a little olive oil, salt & lemon juice.
