We loved working with Robyn and the message she shares - that diversity is a strength and difference is a teacher.
She’s currently in NYC exploring what her brain and body can do with movement coach.
What’s different about your body, and what diversity in your personality can you celebrate? 🧡
This summer and Christmas rock your whole self and learn to love your body as it is. Sometimes we’re our own worst critic and we believe false or mean comments by people around us. Change your narrative to one of strength, diversity, wholeness and peace. Christmas is truely about love and leading up to the silly season let’s love ourself better.
How can you love yourself more? Be unapologetic for your body, take yourself on a date, a pamper session or the practice mindfulness? From there great shifts can begin to move #loveyourself #findyourflow
Every journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step
🌎 It's the same with transitioning to a more sustainable lifestyle:
It starts with making small changes that eventually make a big difference alltogether

"We are taking our references from classic European and Lygon street in the 1950s. Taking that time, to not compromise to having a moment to yourself every day. I think it is really important in that day and age instead of facilitating this really wasteful takeaway culture.

Juxtaposition. I’m 27 but even in my short life I have seen the world change. It is almost impossible to find a place without plastic these days. Whether it be 100 miles from civilization in the middle of Mongolia, out in the middle of the ocean, or here on a hidden beach at the northernmost tip of the Norwegian coast proper. It is everywhere.
Not only does litter break my heart but it serves as a constant reminder of humanity’s shortcomings in the places I go to try and escape from them.
As we slowly realize and come to terms with the widespread effects of our throw-away economy, I can only hope that plastic in places it shouldn’t be will serve as a constant visual representation of our societies need to progress—one behind which we can rally and begin to tackle the problems that will shape our future. When it rains all our human pollution and plastic trash gets washed up in our oceans where all the marine life lives, we are literally throwing trash into somebody else’s home, how rude is that?? Whales, dolphins, sharks and fish think is food, then they eat it and you can imagine the rest 🤢😰😭💀☠️
So repeat after me: “It’s easy to pick up my trash, I want the marine life to be alive ;)”
Reuse, Reduce, and Rethink your consumption, most of the plastic we use can be avoided, we have to change our mindset from this thrown away culture, for a healthier ocean and environment for all beings to live in 🙏🏾🦑🐙🐮🐧🐒🐷🐼🐻🦊🦁🐘🦓🐳🐋🌳🌺🍄🎋🌱🌞🌝
If you “don’t care” about the marine life, more than 70% of the oxygen humans breath comes from the ocean, so if you wanna keep breathing you should care about plastic not being in the ocean and water!! 🤬💦🙌🏾🌊🦈🐋🐳🐬🐟🐠🐙🦑🦐🦀🐡💃🏽🕺🏼
Blonde fur seals are a rare color phase among the hundreds of thousands of black deals that are born on the beaches of frigid South Georgianin the Sub-Antarctic. This young pup stood out so much from its neighbors that I easily returned to it day after day to follow it on its wanderings through the crowded colony. #marineconservation #pikapika

Day 17: The Vacation Plog 🌵
Once again it was more of a plalk than a plog, but even if I wanted to plog, there was *so* much trash that I was really doing more of a plrawl. Clearly any form of trash pick-up hasn’t caught on yet in #Albuquerque
One really cool thing did happen, and as cheesy as it sounds, it warmed my heart. While I was trash collecting, I chatted with a local who was exercising on the same path. A long story short: He told me that seeing me picking up trash I inspired him, and that he had been meaning to do his part for a long time now. He was so genuine in both his commitment and his thankfulness. This is what it’s all about! 🌵
The last photo is of a piece my best friend did for a local art exhibition. Isn’t she so amazing?!? 💗💗💗
What have you done to reduce your #carbonfootprint
There are so many low waste, sustainable answers in our past. Our ancestors knew many great tricks. I always love the holiday decorations at @rossfarmmuseum
👏🏻 Lots of inspiration!
When I see trash littered throughout nature, I can’t help but think, who is going to clean this up? It is all of us. Plastic buckets, plastic gloves.
Are our lives so ingrained in the manmade as well as the natural at this point, that we cannot tell the difference? It seems like it is getting more difficult to find the ‘natural’. The food we buy comes in plastic, the clothes and accessories we wear comes in or is plastic.
And when we throw it away, when we are tired of it, who will sift through to find the natural?
Does the natural matter? Maybe it doesn’t. Except that we are natural. So to survive, we also need the natural. (‘The natural’ is this case are things like fresh water, clean air, food, things to survive to live.) I appreciate this idea, what we do to the environment, we do to ourselves. Because we are not 100% separate from our immediate environment.
Day 15 Adventgram - Think before you Print 🖨 Loaded with toxic chemicals, 1 million printer cartridges a thrown away per day, that’s 11 per second. In landfills it takes them 1000 years to breakdown, so just image what that are doing to our oceans. All of these cartridges have come from a container that broke loose from a ship, littering the Atlantic with thousands of them. #adventgram2018 #adventgram
The inlet at the mouth of the river in La Boca, Buenos Aires.
There is a lot of ‘unidentifiable waste’ out there. When waste from runoff mixes, it sort of just sits there. Maybe it came from boats, maybe from loose litter flying around, or runoff from streams. In any case, in ends up piling up at certain locations. (I’m this case, in the small inlet at the mouth of the river.) What’s even worse, is when birds start feeding and nesting in these locations.
Maybe we can clean up plastic and recycle it, but how do we reuse a plastic-oil-sludge?
Does this become a part of a design solution, used in the foundation of coastal buildings?
Life is better without plastic and singIe-use doesn’t belong to the future ! Be kind to our planet by taking extra care especially during this holiday season!
Reduce or cut the amount of plastic you use and choose to reuse. By switching to reusables alternatives you can help keep out thousands of pounds of waste a year!
It’s time to make the switch ♻

| If the saying ‘you are what you eat’ is true....then come to think about it......everytime i order my Friday fish and chips, i am consuming plastic!💭
Time for another round of crackers! 😋Zero waste, plastic-free crackers, of course! 🚯✅👌If there's one thing that is pretty impossible to buy without plastic or packaging, it's crackers. Not only that but most of the options have more packaging than actual cracker 😖 But don't worry, I got you covered - make these 💚 Yes they are as good as they look 😀 and you'll find the recipe on my website (link in profile👆).
Seals are another of the countless marine animals that are affected by plastic pollution. They can get tangled in the plastic and suffocate or they can digest it. It is horrible and disgusting that these beautiful creatures are dying because of a mess that humans have created, and can’t control.
