When’s the last time you played for play’s sake? Tag someone who likes to play and someone who needs to play. Let them figure out who’s who. //
With no program, no structure, no set objective other than, “explore and have fun.”?
[As a side note, (even though I haven’t posted the Projects from the #OnlineMovementUniversity
and in a way have been failing my #HouseOfWater
as a result) one of the things I love so much about what @yuenjon @strongcamps
are doing is how they encourage exploratory movement and play.]
This applies to all aspects of life.
Even (especially?) in regards to the most polarizing topic I seem to love discussing- SEX.
You don’t need to get off. (I’m talking to everyone, but mostly to guys. Women seem to know they don’t ‘have to’ all too well. Probably because you’re all an inattentive lot... But that’s another topic altogether.)
I know we’ve been conditioned to think sex and play has to culminate in a traditional climax. //
I also know we live in such a fast-paced, immediate-satisfaction world that the idea of spending time fooling around without getting the traditional release we’ve all cum to expect from sex is incredulous at best and truly insane to most. //
Anyway, I really do mean that you should be playing in all ways, not just in the bedroom.
Go climb a tree.
Swing on a swing.
Look at the world upside down.
Hold your breath for a long time.
Talk with an accent.
Tell a story. Make a face.
Play with your food. (See my #guacamole
story for a perfect example of this.) Write a skit.
Paint with your fingers.
Throw things from hand to hand instead of passing them.
Make fart noises.
Use something outside of its designed purpose.
Don’t take yourself so seriously.
