Yesterday we were nearly late to school because on the way there we found lots of worms on the pavement, Noah had me move every single one on to the grass (with a stick) because he was worried people would step on them or a bird would get them. Children are so kind and thoughtful, I wish everyone was like that, wouldn't the world be a better place!
The urge to stay here on the sofa this morning is stronggggg.
It’s Friday though and I’ve got a trip to London, a catch up with friends and a brunch with bottomless Prosecco to look forward to in the next couple of days so I suppose I can manage another day at work.
What’s getting you through Friday?
Ezra’s getting the insta treatment today. If he wasn’t perched on her prized RSG sheepskin it would be hard to spot the little fella amongst the dark drama going on here so I’ve most certainly popped a filter on. Why not, it’s Friday afterall! He paid a visit to the vet yesterday to get his back leg seen to. We’re overly cautious with him and started getting concerned he was developing a luxating patella (dodgy knee caps for small dogs) which we’re told is hard to be certain of until he’s a least a year old. The vet eased our concerns and also told us he’s the perfect weight and we’re not over walking him which was also another pup parent worry. Maybe we’re not too bad at being foggy Dads afterall? Do you freak out about your pets too or is it just us? 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏼♂️

last night! So absolutely thrilled! It’s been a tough week at home and I can’t tell you how much it’s cheered me up. Thank you to all who voted. Xxx
I love our girl. She is everything to us. She’s the funniest, cutest, most loyal and intelligent little madam and she has us wrapped around her little paw. She loves being in a photo, so it had to M for Missy today.
The doorway you see leads down to my salon. Missy follows me every morning on my way to work. Her job is to greet the ladies and give them kisses, maybe smell their bag and then tootle off for a nap. She’s part of my day, my work colleague and my friend and I love her dearly. Do you have a dog, cat or bunny-child? .

A R T is an essential part of our life - I this I could not live without! Do you know this comforting feeling when you visit an exhibition, the feeling of coming home? Maybe it’s because my parents pulled me into museums and galleries since I was a little child😃 - fortunately I love it till today. Here you see Frida (a great artist) next to Pippi (a great hedonist) next to a paper print from Arno Waldschmidt, a friend of our family, died meanwhile.
It’s also an art to hang pictures in the right way - there is a little upside room for me😁 - but I’m learning the whole time - from you as well 😍.
Let’s go to weekend - it’s becoming nice weather these days🌸💜🌸
Calm waters is an epic new framed print coming online very soon. Just wanted to tease you in the mean time .
We’re getting ready for a Mad Hatter’s ladies lunch today at a charity event for Anna’s Hope raising money to help children with brain tumours. It will be a lovely day and I’m excited to be donating a prize towards the raffle 🎁 Have a lovely Friday all, what will you be doing today? 😊
Cloudy day mood = grumpy but drinking chai lattes in bed in the hope of making myself turn into a nice human to be around 🌧☕️ 😇
Every once in awhile, I’ll find old polaroids + hang them by our bed. 🖤 #archboldhome
Imagine what you could do with a place like this! 😍

After 7 jobs this week, the Castle Hire team is saying cheers to weekend!
Zamioculcas - Or popularly known as the "ZZ plant" is on my top list of houseplants as they are perfect for any new plant parent. It's very difficult to kill a ZZ, take my word for it!
1. Sunlight: ZZ plants thrive in bright, indirect light but can also survive in low-light conditions. Do not place your ZZ in direct sunlight. Too much direct sun will dry out the leaves.
2. Water: Since these are very low maintenance plants, they require very little care or water. Allow the soil to dry between watering and avoid standing water. We water our ZZ plants, once a week in summer. You can water them once in 2 weeks too. Do not overwater.
You can see we have one near our kitchen sill which receives very bright indirect light and (swipe) a large one quite away from the window in our living room since its quite bright and receives no direct sunlight.

Not necessarily decor inspiration but it’s always awesome seeing floor plans similar to ours! We have an open concept floor plan but no fireplace, and while we have a ton of windows (it was a must), it’s hard finding smaller spaces for inspiration.
I often see large spaces so it’s awesome seeing spaces you can relate to a little bit in terms of furniture placement. This is *almost* a replica of our floor plan on the first floor. [source:Pinterest Joss and Main]
I hope you all find the person you can browse bunnings with...because that love is real! .

Small-space tricks // Use out-of-the-way wall space for vertical storage. If you have been inside any home that I’ve decorated, then you know that I use this trick extensively. 🙈 Our current house features my favorite of the vertical-storage ideas that I tested and refined in my previous apartments. In this bedroom, for example, we store the Shark floor mop and accessories on a series of hooks behind the door. They fit perfectly without obstructing the door’s range of motion, and are completely hidden from sight when the door is open. The mop is much more accessible here than it would be in the (detached) garage, which is the only other place where there is space for it. And accessibility is key for this cleaning enthusiast. 💪🏼 // Can you spot the mop wand peeking through near the bottom curve of the mirror? I will show the full storage arrangement in Stories soon.
