Today my trainer led a silent workout. Only saying “next” for the next move. Most people seem to find that they really liked this, and were able to find motivation from within themselves to push harder. I’ve got to be honest... I really DIDN’T like it. I kept looking at the screen to make sure I was doing it right, and the time seemed like it was going so slow! My first transformer number was really low, which did help me push harder on the other two, but still not the progress I expected to see.
It did teach me a lesson. I depend too much on that voice to push me harder, when I need to be listening to my own voice. Added to my list of things to work on! ✔️ Tomorrow’s a new day, a clean slate, a new frame of mind!
And... almost the weekend!! 😁
