📣Ponoć listopad to miesiąc najbardziej depresyjny, więc śpiszę z pomocą i podrzucam widoki z majówki✌😅 Większośc ćwiczeń w klubach fitness, to podnoszenie ciężarów w płaszczyźnie pionowej lub izolowanie grup mięśniowych. Trening typu #strongman
*Stan Lee twórca komiksów Marvela(Spider Man, Hulk, Thor itd) zmarł 12 listopada w wieku 96 lat.

"Of course I miss India, but this is a better life for my kids, so I had no choice"
Meet the Soods.
They're a family of four that I first met in New Delhi, India, at the beginning of my current two year journey in Dec 2016. I was there for my friend's wedding and to film the country, when I met them. The father, who had left for Poland as a migrant worker in 2015 during the mass influx of migrants to Europe to find a better life for his family, had returned to India because his sister is married to the brother of the groom. He invited me for tea at his parents house, where I met his wife, who was working towards her bachelor's degree, and kids, who were studying in elementary school and hoping to get reunited with their father one day. They lived 7 people in one small 2 bedroom house in what could be referred to as the slums of India. It was his mission to get them out of there to a better life. I promised him that if I made it to Poland, I would definitely stop and say hello.
Fast forward to today, November 2018. It just so happens to be Diwali, the biggest festival in India, and essentially their Christmas. Serendipitously, I'm entering Poland, so I contacted the Soods. It turns out his wife and kids received their visas over one year ago and were able to finally join him in Gdynia. He is working over 12 hours per day to support them, she finished her degree and is now focused on learning Polish while tutoring local Poles in English to help make ends meet, and the kids are in middle school, actively learning Polish and planning to become a NASA astronaut and medical doctor, respectively. They invited me to stay over, gave me a traditional kurta pajama to wear, and allowed me to take part in their Diwali celebration with their new Polish friends who are intrigued and curious to learn more about other cultures.
Their lives are improving, although the daily struggle to survive is real. The parents do their best for the kids. And the kids do their best in school for their parents. This is the migrant life.
Do they ever want to return? Maybe one day.
But only on a NASA spaceship 🚀
