We hope you had as much fun as we did this weekend! Thanks for coming out to celebrate our grand opening with us!
So much truth 🙌🏻 → “It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” C.S. Lewis •
🙋🏼♀️ I’m in this boat every single day. Every day, I choose to pour myself into my work. Into social media and comparison. And even into my relationship with Daniel. All of these things can be done well.. but my heart so easily drifts toward wanting fulfillment in them. How cheap a satisfaction all of those things are compared to my treasure in Christ?
How easy is it to be featured on #OPFTekkersTuesday
? All you need is a camera, a soccer ball...and that's pretty much it! ⚽️📸 Show us what you got! Film your best tekkers and post it using the hashtag #opftekkerstuesday
Good day, everyone!
I edited the shit out of this post and it's still so long I have to continue in the comments. Carry on if you're interested.
Recently, I mentioned my people pleasing personality and the lasting negative results when left unchecked, but also how I've developed many great inner strengths over the years. Desiring pleasing others has taught me flexibility, which has broken all my false judgments. I always wanted to love and be loved. I accepted anyone as a friend, it didn't matter who or how weird they were. I loved them for wanting to be my friend and continued to love them when they treated me like a whole person. The misfits are the ones who always came around, wonder why that is.
I learned that truth is everywhere, and sometimes subjective reality needs to be seen before objective reality can be heard. Both need recognition to reach full potential. That's how I found my own personal strain of morality, mostly aligned with humanism and compassion. Jumping from crowd to crowd all my life has taught me truth means different things for different people, but the deepest and most important truths are recognized amongst all of them, universal truths.
I always felt best to see the good in every individual, because that's what I want them to see in me. I scrap the bullshit in hope they'll join in. The need for love and friendship is a universal truth. It's easy to stay steady on my feet when I say people are good. They are, even when they do fucked up shit sometimes.
Most people don't feel right when they do toxic shit. Things like lashing out at others might feel good in the moment, but toxicity builds up and eventually breaks down. No one wants to live in misery. Sometimes we lose hope and can't see a way out, self-destruction becomes an outlet and a scream for help, and it's almost impossible to pull one out of their destruction when things like meeting basic needs is nearly impossible to achieve.

If you are going to @floridaroompdx
for the quality of the toilet paper, I think you are missing the point, BUT don’t go here for the quality of the toilet paper. Their modest 2-ply will do the trick in a (clean) pinch, but perhaps your ass should pass if things are serious.
Who knew you could get an almost authentic style burrito in a almost unassuming dive bar. That’s right, the folks over at @kaysbar1934
in the heart of the Sellwood district not only dishes up an insanely huge and insanely delicious wet burrito with tinga chicken smothered in an authentic Oaxacan molé but they’ve also been the go to watering hole for locals and visitors alike since 1934 right after the repeal of prohibition. Follow the bright green awning below the neon pink sign that shouts KAY’S into it’s dark interior highlighted by the glow of the wood paneled walls and vinyl padding of the half moon booths and bar stools. In there, it’s dingy yet inviting at the same time with a “what’s it gonna be” type greeting from the bartender. Perhaps the classiest thing in there is the leg lamp replica from A Christmas Story. However, it’s an indication to all visitors that Kay’s isn’t your typical pretentious Portland cocktail lounge, but more of a hole-in-the-wall for the anti loungers. It’s everyone from local regulars to school teachers to blue collar workers and Nike execs all just ending their long day with a local beer and some greasy bar food. It’s a dive bars paradise that just so happens to have one of the best burritos in town. And fun fact: American Poet and Novelist James Dickey wrote a majority of the novel Deliverance in this bar. 🌯🍺📖 .

A little while ago I posted about the new Absolue line for @lancomeofficial
now that I’ve had a good month + to try it out I can say I absolue*tly love it!! The face cream is so rich and feels like heaven on my skin. It is fairly fragrant however, so if you aren’t sure how potent you like your face creams go try a sample at a Macy’s counter before purchasing. All in all, I’m hooked!
AND I’m super happy to share that you can get a FREE secret surprise gift (they’re super cute) at any @macys

Terpenes are molecules that naturally occur in humans and plants, including cannabis. They not only determine the taste and smell a strain when the terpenes interact with cannabinoids, but they magnify the reaction. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is why it's crucial to use full spectrum CBD, where the cannabinoids and terpenes remain intact. A dose of full spectrum CBD oil has a far different impact than isolated CBD oil. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How have you noticed terpenes impact you? It can be difficult to find a balance with all of the full-spectrum oils available, so it’s worth experimenting to figure out what your body needs.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
