I love Chirashi because of the vibrant colors, flavors, and textures, layered into one bowl👌🏼I do recommend sitting at the bar to watch the chefs’ delicate knife skills and technique, as well as to converse and learn about the dish they present you with!

Retaining wall blocks delivered and lots of dirt dug! We are on our way! So exciting! http://liketk.it/2xRlr #liketkit @liketoknow.it
Such a perfect scene in Portland. A big lineup of people waiting to buy donuts from @voodoodoughnut
while a crazy guy with a microphone and a big sign blabs on about religion and sins. This just about sums up Portland in a photo. / In partnership with @bestwestern
we’re touring Oregon for a week to find and try some of the best food and drink in the state! Follow along....
This is one special lady and friend, love you @alisonng27
After a 6-hour long drive from Canada I am so happy to have my hubby make me dinner tonight! This chorizo pasta is not on the cards tonight but he made a beautiful lasagne for me 😍😍 so very grateful and happy for a hubby who can cook! Now to watch Netflix, drink wine and try not to fall asleep by 8pm! Hope you had a lovely weekend 💕💕 .
I’m so thankful that I get to call this place our backyard! It’s so beautiful this time of year🍂🍁Had a wonderful morning with the fam exploring Linnton Neighborhood. Who loves to explore in their own city? #portlandoregon
experienced all four seasons this weekend
Fresh blooms & greenery from my sweet fiancé. 🌿
Made a HUGE 5 pound chicken in my airfryer today. If you guys don’t have an airfryer GO get one!! They will make cooking meat so yummy and easy... and they also make SO many other dishes amazing as well. I personally have a Big Boss airfryer. The reason I love this one is the size!! I can cook up to a 10+ turkey or chicken in this and it tastes so good! You can get it on amazon for under $100. And to season this bird we used @daksspices
Italian blast and wow does it smell good!! So excited to use this for dinner tonight!! .

Portland meets Brooklyn in Manhattan
This October I’ve been all in on pumpkin. 🎃 I get it, it’s a polarizing flavor. But I think we should like what we like and dislike what we dislike even if it’s a frowned upon opinion. I love pumpkin. I don’t love super runny eggs, raw oysters, or this strange shift of collard greens becoming trendy. What about you - what polarizing foods do you love or hate? Either way, I think we can all agree that @portlandcider
knocks or out of the park on their seasonal ciders. 🍎 This one was no exception.
my heart is hurting at my upcoming departure from scotland. edinburgh, you have outdone yourself. the crazy memories and amazing relationships i’ve made have filled my cup. so yeah i loved it so much that I got a tattoo of a heather sprig yesterday on a whim. 🖤
with that being said i still have a couple more days and who knows what that’ll bring...more updates and photos soon. XOXOX
Just found out I was 3 and a half weeks pregnant and trying to act casual....⬇️
About 5 months later (today) I finally wrote a blog post about pregnancy. Link in bio 💕
What a sweet, intimate wedding. Kaitlin and Mat exchanged vows under this beautiful bridge. The vows they wrote made me tear up, it was such an authentic, beautiful moment. Fast forward and we are running around downtown Portland taking photos at their hotel, the nines. We ended up in the “library” with whiskey sours and shooting pool. What a day ✨✨✨✨
Remember that episode where Phoebe gets sick and her singing voice is actually tolerable? Well I’ve been sick in bed the past few days and you can bet your bottom dollar I tested out that theory, Smelly Cat lyrics and all 🐱
Feels so good to finally feel normal again! Happy Sunday friends! 🍂⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
P.S. when we moved into the new apartment T designed the bathroom + decided he wanted it whale themed 😂 I love him so much y’all 🐳
Unreal places I would walk through a thousand times 🌿
Finding fall colors wherever I go. I think today calls for some quiet time with a full pot of tea & an engrossing story. Are you reading anything interesting right now that I need to add to my list? I need to know!
I love trying out new styles and seeing how I can fit them into my personal style. Has anyone tried out kitten boots? (Seems appropriate timing to try them out since I just got a kitten 😅) but I love pairing these ones from @splendidla
with my camel coats!
Also couldn’t help take some photos with the colorful leaves, Portland looks SO pretty right now!! Swipe over to see a detail of the boots 🍂✨ #themoptop #kittenboots #splendidla #falloutfit #camelcoat #fallstyle #fallleaves #simplelook
I ran into @zaatarnw
on one of my walks back home. It's a nice, cozy place at a quiet corner. The service is chilled and server seemed happy. I came around 7:50pm. I asked the friendly server for recommendations, and based on those ordered the Chicken Kabob and the @961beer
. It was the first time I had Lebanese beer. 🍺
There were only two other customers at that time. The owner or someone managing the server was sitting with someone else on the other side. The place had a nice relaxing vibe. The food came out within a reasonable amount of time. The rice and the chicken was fine, though not as extraordinary as the online reviews had made it sound like. It very well could be that later in the day, the food was still good but not great? Or maybe I haven't had this specific kind of Lebanese food before and thus the way Zaatar cooks it is how it's supposed to be? Regardless, while I did enjoy the night (and also the non-sweet beer), I did wish I hadn't read any online reviews while I was waiting for the food to come out. I ended up ordering one more dish (Hummus with beef) after I finished this (separate photo coming soon).
I'll be back again, though earlier in the day perhaps and will try the lamb next time. At this moment, do I recommend this place to try out? Yes. Try out the 961 beer too 👍. For this exact chicken dish I had, do I recommend coming from a distance (driving or biking)? If you've been liking my other recommendations so far and also finding that your food preferences are a bit similar to mine, then no.
Let me know in the comments if you've been here, or if you recommend any other similar place or type of food to try (even if you're not in Portland). 👋
Halloween nail vibes 🎃 What did you pick for your most recent mani?
Ya girl summited her very first mountain in the Pacific Northwest this morning ✨ Mount Defiance, standing at just around 4,959 ft. And the top just so happens to have a beautiful view of the mountain I’ll be climbing next - Mount Hood!
A cappelletti spritz is almost on par with a Bloody Mary as a hangover cure-all, and @triumph_bar
does them well. 💯
And here we have balloons rising early in the morning at the 44th annual Walla Walla ballon stampede🎈
How cute are the colors in this scarf?! I can't get enough of these chunky, cozy accessories! I definitely sense a fall theme coming up here. Get ready to see all the cozy fall things in my feed as soon as temps drop below 70, it's ON! .
