Sundays are for cuddling the one you love most.
Snowy session on the books today and I’m so excited! It makes it even better now that these are essentially in my backyard!
Unrelated news, we saw Free Solo last night. While it was fabulous and I really liked it, my back hurts today from basically being a tense ball of nerves for the entire two hours. Happy Sunday!
Started a book club with my friends and we’re reading Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn right now for month one! It’s so good so far but spoooky 💀 Going to watch the HBO show after!! Heard if was sooo good too.
cozy lil’ home in the city + one sleepy puppppp 🐶 forever obsessing over this space + session 🖤
Stormy wedding days can still be pretty damn epic! 😻

This sweet little couples session before they’re joined by a tiny babe 👶🏻 Can we talk about her dress please????
Holy lazy day! Playing catch up on all of my shows this week, watching some online workshops, and probably not changing out of my pjs and fuzzy socks. This time off is treating me well!
This is for the dreamers, the doers, the believers.⠀⠀
Just a few reminders for you today:⠀⠀
You are worthy.⠀⠀
You are a rockstar.⠀⠀
You are kicking butt.⠀⠀⠀
and your dreams will come true, if you just start.⠀⠀
Is there is something ahead of you that scares you just a little? Maybe you're apprehensive. Just keep moving forward. Put one trembling foot in front of the other and head in the direction of your dreams. Don't look back.⠀⠀
I learned the hard way many years ago that NOW is the time. If you don't build your own empire, you will work hard to build someone else's. ⠀⠀
So, if you haven't already, START TODAY. You've got this!⠀⠀
Tag someone below to cheer them on today!⠀⠀

the most magical lil’ spot nestled in the busy streets of london ✨ can’t even contain how excited I am to be visiting again next monthhh! all the afternoon tea + vintage shops pls 💛
Me running to the Starbucks across the street from work with 15 minutes left on my lunch right now. 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️😂😂😂
LOVE these two- we are SO ecstatic for their wedding day this July at the @inn_at_avonlea.
Funny thing about this photo- we stopped here because the light was MAGICAL- I mean look at that glow 😍 I guess we were on private property and didn’t realize it because we were quickly confronted by a grumpy man in his big tractor with a chainsaw 😱😱😱 Pro tip: Always check if you’re allowed to be where you are, no matter how amazing the light is 😂
Thursday’s are for retro wall paper & double exposures, right?
I get my first draft for my new logo design tomorrow and I can hardly contain my excitement! I have LOVED my logo for the last 3 years and get so many compliments on it, but I'm so excited for something new and specific to ME and my BRAND!! Maybe I'll give y'all a little sneak tomorrow.... 🥰
These two braved the Columbia River Gorge in January to take engagement photos. There's nothing like the freezing cold, waterfall mist, and whipping winds to kick off the new year!
Our love is like the wind. I can’t see it, but I can feel it.
—A Walk To Remember
I naturally fell in love with these two and their love story when Sam showed up with a ring on. After a long bike ride during a camping trip, Sam proposed to Kathleen and she proposed right back. She had been carrying the ring with her everywhere for months, waiting to ask him the question in return. How sweet is that? These two on my blog today. Link in bio!
Who else is ready for spring flowers?? 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
For the month of March I’ll be picking 2 couples for a FREE shoot. Comment below if you are interested and I’ll announce the winners this Sunday!
Return to a place and challenge yourself to see it in new ways. I always try to do this whenever I shoot at the same location more than once. Partly, I do this for myself so I don’t get bored, to keep things fresh. But it’s also for the couple so they get something unique. Before this session, I had never thought to frame a couple’s heads between the craggy notch beyond. It’s a simple thing, but nestling them in there feels like finding the tricky piece in a puzzle that’s evaded you for too long.
We literally ran from the reception to chase the quickly setting sun, laughing, with ice cream in hand from the food cart. I shot as quickly as my little fingers would allow and we made magic!
The images from this part of their day were some of my most favorites from the summer! So thankful for my clients and their trust in me. How is this my job?!
Walking to her first look 💛
