I get so much inspiration from my clients. They’re all so artistic, kind, creative, adventurous and unique. Thank you all for trusting me. Love to you all. ✨
Ummmm HELLO 😻 I did my first workout on this bad boy today and holllyyy 🍑🍑🍑😭😭😭. Haha jk. It really wasn’t terrible. And I’m one of the clumsiest people i know lol. But as long as I watched my step, I was golden. My legs have always been my weakest area along with my glutes. I’ve got a feeling that’s about to change. Make sure you check out my stories for the behind the scenes each day and our Team Wide move of the day challenge where you can play along if you so wish 🤶🏻🤶🏻🤶🏻🎄🎄🎄

Thank you Childish Gambino for teaching me how to be a confident adult. Hope you come back to Portland soon.
Love yourself, all the shades of you 🖤
It’s foggy out here! Happy Monday everyone xo 😘 🌫
It's even more beautiful and clearer when focusing through the rain.
After being spoiled last week with sunny days, we’re back to normal gloomy Portland winter weather 😫
After setting up the Brick+Mortar, I am finally putting some some weekly hours into updating, upgrading, and adding content (like plant care handouts) to our website!

Revitalized Vintage Filigree Jewelry (Sterling Silver+) SHOP UPDATE Tomorrow, Monday, December 10, 2018!
. . .
While I create my own jewelry, I also rescue vintage #filigree
jewelry that has not been cared for in the past. It comes to me all sorts of tarnished black and brown in outdated styles, such as screw back earrings. 🔥🔨🤷Sometimes, I take the torch to them, other times, a jeweler's saw, but always with a lot of time, care, and TLC. These pieces still have to be cleaned with tiny abrasives, light soaps, and other methods. Its not a one time clean either...often times I do a few rounds on them.
♥️I enjoy revitalizing vintage filigree because I like pretty and dainty creations and filigree definitely fits the bill here.
♥️I also do it because I like to see the different patterns and try to identify what part of the world each piece came from (different styles of filigree are indicative of being made in different areas of the world)

“Self-care is the number one solution to helping somebody else. If you are being good to yourself and your body and your psyche... that serves other people better, because you will grow strong enough to life someone else up.”
Taking care of you isn’t selfish. When you serve yourself, you serve the world. When I learned to hold myself accountable to my own personal health and mental state I learned that I was actually in control of my life and actions. Not my boss. Not my boyfriend. Not my mom God bless her (she’s never tried to make me anyone other than who I’ve always wanted to be). Not the pastor at my church from high school years. (And yes I do believe God is in ultimate control, but Free Will and all... you gotta show up and own that the choices you’re making really are yours). And then I looked around me, and I saw so many people who didn’t feel in control of their life. Who were sad. Confused. Tired. And that’s when I decided if I could do one thing to help people start from the bottom up… to show them it’s all possible (all = anything) through meeting them where we are... not by showing up as the final destination... Then by God I was going to do it. And I’ll be the first to tell you that my relationship with God would not be what it is today if I had not of learned to take care of myself. And to just feel good. Because serving… It’s so much easier when you feel awesome. Yes. I still get sad. But the difference between old sad girl Kelley and new sad girl Kelley, is I know that it’s just around the corner that I’m going to feel better. Not years away... just days. Highs and lows are still necessary to my being, but the lows are more bearable because i know... me first. Then i can start showing up and glowing up all over again. ✨✨✨
Street photography has become meditative for me. Since I’m shooting only for myself, it allows me space to try new things while developing my style, to continually train my eye to find the story. It’s also a time for me to “unwind,” to let everything else on my mind melt away for a couple hours while I focus solely on the sights around me.
In the span of my first three trips to Portland, I shot five rolls of film. On this past trip, I shot five rolls of film.
All five rolls of film are up on the blog! Link’s in my bio.
Stars & Boulevards // Ilford HP5+ on Holga // All five of my rolls from last month’s Portland trip are up on my blog, link’s in my bio. I’m about to get into the darkroom to print some of these lovelies!
