Making a little bit of progress, feeling pretty good tho just need to nail these final weeks and keep practicing.
The best part of this is I’m at the point where I can smile in front of a mirror instead of looking strained and grimacing.
I’ve forced myself out of my comfort zone and pushed myself to change my lifestyle, and even though it’s scary and I do have days I want to run and hide, I know I would not of got to where I am now if I had let myself do just that 😊
It just takes one spark of determination and you can do it too 💪🏋🏻♀️
So if you feel crappy and like you want to bail on the weights, get up and hussle your ass to the gym and give it 💯 % because hiding ain’t gonna make you feel happy or get you to your goals! 🙌

The importance of posing (round 2 ☺️) posing in Bikini is all about finding ways to show the judges your best angles and best assets on stage all the time. Yes you need to nail your poses but you should also pay attention to nailing your transitions. Find a way to move between poses that is as valuable to you as the pose itself. By no means am I perfect on stage - I muck up plenty - but I really like this transitional pose for myself because I can angle it to show my waist, emphasise glute development and show the areas of my upper body which aren’t too hard or soft. Just as your poses should show a harmonious and flowing body (with no areas under or overdeveloped; no areas too hard or soft) so should the way you move between them.

1.5 weeks until show number one 👙It’s funny how 7 weeks ago I thought I was walking struggle street with zero food, wow! These last few days make those fabulous times seem like a holiday in the Bahamas with an un limited supply of fancy cheeses and sweet champagne. Then I was hit by a double decker bus.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ I’ve never experienced anything quite like the impact a re feed has on your body and mental state when you are so totally depleted. Yesterday I cried twice simply because I am so physically fatigued and hungry that functioning is becoming impossible. I think the hardest part of it all is accepting that I can not maintain the same strength and energy towards my training-Believe me I try however I am so hungry and tired I simply just cry. This makes me feel let down and disappointed. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Then you throw 2,700 calories my way and an extra 40 minutes sleep (missed my 5am alarm this morning🙈) and I’m like running around like Wonder Woman. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Your physique and mental state can transform so quickly and I can not wait to further my study in Sports Nutrition and Supplements and learn all I can about these transformations. However in the meantime I shall focus on pushing through my training, really tweaking my posing and thanking my lucky stars for those glorious potatoes🥔Four days and then it’s peak week!
