“Doula,” is often confused for midwife. While midwives are heavily involved in the medical aspects of the labour and delivery process, doulas offer services that begin far before the birth, and can extend for weeks afterwards. My services are hands-on and educational, spanning from applied massage, to practical information regarding what you can bring with you to the hospital. I begin by understanding my clients needs, fears, and goals throughout their pregnancy. I support them in providing education and techniques to make their pregnancy as comfortable as possible. Throughout the birth, I am present alongside the midwife or doctor to coach the mother AND her partner through the experience, whether the birth is at home or in hospital, ensuring they have exactly what they need to feel their most comfortable. Once the baby is born, I remain available for postpartum care for the parents and for the baby. A servant of women, of mothers, of families — creating space for new life to emerge in a world of comfort, understanding, and openness. .

I hear this so often from moms. They feel that after having their baby their body is broken. They come to me to fix it.
I always share with them that their body is not broken. That I actually think their body is incredibly strong.
When you think about it the process of growing and birthing a baby is amazing. Your body did that. If that's not strength I don't know what is.
When we shift the focus from our bodies being weak from having a baby to strong because of having a baby we are approaching fitness in a whole new way.
We come from a place of love while we reconnect to our core and our body's functions.
Then from this base of strength and love we build in exercise and with that even more confidence can grow.
You are not broken or weak you are strong and loved.
This is my main focus in Core Connection Small Group Training For Moms. We work on reconnecting to our core and to ourselves while building strength and confidence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1. If you could trade lives with one person for a day, who would it be?
My son, so I can be catered to all day and take a two hour nap! 😂
2. A country you’d like to visit that you’ve never been to?
Italy for sure!
3. What’s the best and worst thing about getting older?
Best is gaining new and learning from experiences. Worst is waking up and being stuff 🤦🏻♀️
4. When it comes to love and relationships, what is the first lesson you want to teach your children when they are in a relationship of their own?
To not settle for anything less than what you deserve. Wait for the one that treats you well and loves you for you.
5. If your childhood had a smell, what would it be?
6. What’s the hardest lesson you’ve learned?
That not all friend show the same amount of support as you do them. And do not trust kids with paint alone. Even for a second.
7. If you had a personal flag, what would be on it?
A cup of coffee
8. If you were put into solitary confinement for six months, what would you do to stay sane?
Exercise and write a book in my head 😂
9. If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do with it?
Travel with my family all over the world and pay off debts
10. When do you feel truly “alive”?
When I’m in nature and laughing with my kids! @courtneyslittlecorner

TURN UP THE VOLUME AND LISTEN TO BEAR SING THE HOOK TO EARTH WIND & FIRE’S “BOOGIE WONDERLAND!” @blaksoil
“Boogie Wonderland” by Earth Wind & Fire is Bear’s favorite song. She started to sing the hook when she was about 16 months old (1 year and 4 months old). She loves most of their songs and is always in awe when watching them dance, play instruments, and wear their glamorous outfits! Sometimes we spend hours dancing around the office while listening to oldies. This girl loves to dance and listen to good music and I’m down to party with Bear any day of the week!
One of my goals with this platform is to have open, honest conversations about everything related to c-sections.
Today, we're talking about post c-section bleeding. Yep, we're going there!
It may have been surprising (or maybe not) how much bleeding you still had after your birth, especially since you didn't deliver vaginally. I was definitely caught off guard by this after my first c-section.
The hospital provides you with those lovely mesh underwear and super thick pads and for some moms, that may be the perfect solution. I've heard other moms say that they preferred adult disposable diapers/underwear because they were easier to use and more absorbent!
What was the most comfortable way for you to deal with postpartum bleeding after your c-section? What product worked best for you?
Let me know in the comments ⬇️😊️and tag a fellow c-section mom who could benefit from this conversation!

Doing a little experimenting. I posted yesterday about how my skin is so much clearer now.
So I'm curious if that is extending to other areas. I've had fine, oily hair since I was a teen. I wash my hair every day or it looks gross.
So today I didn't. I showered but didn't get my hair wet. I wanted to see if it would look ok or be gross.
A bit oily but really not too bad. Maybe I'll try to do every other day and see what hapoens.
The other REALLY cool thing here...hair GROWTH!
With all my other kids at 6 months postpartum my hair was falling out like crazy and I looked half bald. And it took another year to see signs of improvement. But not now. I already have about an inch of regrowth in my usual thin spots.
Only a few weeks into simple diet changes with some pretty big progress. Test results and full game plan in 2 weeks. I can't wait to share more when I'm a bit farther along on this journey. It could have a profound impact for so many, including those with autoimmune disease, diabetes, autism, Alzheimer's and more.
So thankful God kept putting this in my view no matter how hard I tried to look in another direction.
Patience - it’s not something that comes easily for me, and when I found out I was pregnant it’s something I told myself I would work at - I have surprised myself with the patience I do have, & I also believe that sometimes it just comes naturally as motherhood has - but the one thing that I continue to struggle with is having patience with myself. I’m one of the lucky ones who had a fairly easy pregnancy and delivery 🙌🏻 so I often forget that 3.5 months ago my babe was not earth side. And 3.5 months ago my body went through one of the hardest things it will ever go through. It’s easy to forget about when mentally and physically I feel fantastic, which makes it even easier to become frustrated with myself when physically (strength wise, not looks) I’m not where my mind thinks my body should be. I have to remind myself not only of how long it took to get to where I was & the work that went into it, but that even though Leo has grown so much, he is still only 3.5 months old. I am still only 3.5 months PP, and for that, I should be more than happy that I am where I am, physically and mentally. •
I’m incredibly grateful to be happy & healthy with an amazing little boy who is also happy & healthy, but there are moments like during today’s workout where I easily forget that it’s going to take more time, and although I’m feeling weak, I’m stronger than I was last week. •
It’s easy to get wrapped up in our own thoughts, and it’s hard to give yourself credit and a pat on the back. But every once in a while it’s exactly what you need. Being a new mom isn’t the easiest thing in the world, and every new mom deserves some praise. If you’re like me, give yourself a break and remind yourself how amazing your body is. It will take some time, but it’s worth it Mama. •

A healing Sauna to aid in healing of the Perineum after delivery.
It was filled with 7 different kinds of ginger and was awesome just to sit and breathe into my mind and body for 15 mins 💚 *** I know what you’re thinking this women’s always into the weirdest 💩😳😂
So breakfast & lunch were same as yesterday so haven’t posted again. But dinner was pasta n sauce (3 I think), with added bacon, peas, onion & pepper, with spinach on the side & my 2nd HeA of 40g light cheese. Day 2 totally on plan & feeling so much better already! #fatmammanomore
🤷♂️🤷♂️Were you scared of having kids? If so, why?
Funny enough, one of the reasons I didn’t want to have children because I didn’t want to lose my figure!😭
In hindsight, there is so much wrong with that fact!👎
First of all, I honestly believed that having children meant you had to gain a ton of weight! Now, I have three children. By my old thinking, I should be the size of a house... And feeling terrible, exhausted and Unconfident.👎
Instead, I feel amazing! I’m proud of my body, comfortable in my clothes and energetic enough to keep up with my three little monsters...⭐️
Also, I thought that gaining weight would affect my value as a person... it Has taken me years to figure out that I take care of my body for *myself*, not because of what others think of me. .
Would you like to learn how to stay in shape, regardless of your busy mom life? How about be part of a community that encourages you to take care of your body for the RIGHT reasons?
My fit tribe and I will be helping a few women get it together (and keep it together) through the holidays... .

Raise your hand if you end up feeling GUILTY about the food you consume over the holiday season 🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️
(Everyone raises hand)
Well I’m done with that yo! And I fully intend to drink my ketones and enjoy my thanksgiving meal Thursday! Anybody else?
So i was thinking! What if we could all enjoy thanksgiving (I mean don’t go crazy and eat til you’re sick of course) ... and then on MONDAY start a 10 day challenge!
Here’s what that would look like:
✅10 days of ketones
✅A week long meal plan provided by ME
✅specific water intake goal everyday!
✅a form of physical activity every day!
✅accountability check ins each evening on every topic above!
If you’re in, comment below! If you don’t have ketones to get started we need to get you set up with a 10 day trial if you haven’t tried one yet, OR a box of your favorite flavor! 🤤
Check the link in my bio or shoot me a message!
I’m extra excited!! 🎉🎉🎉 I am SO over feeling guilty every year about the food I consume during the holidays! That is part of emotional eating and I am done with it! Can I get an amen?!

I’m super excited for this guide 😆. I’m almost done I promise.
This guide has everything you need to know to become the best version of you, to make these last few weeks stronger than ever and to enter the year full of accomplishments.
My Pink Tank Transformation💕I KNOW you can do this because I've done it! Back when I weighed 240 lbs, I was lazy. I'd sit in front of the TV every day after coming home from work! I always had an excuse to not workout. Until one day I got TIRED OF BEING LAZY & I decided to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT💪🏻 So I worked my butt off for 3 years working out consistently, watching what I ate and always picked myself back up when I'd fall off track👊🏻 STAY POSITIVE. TAKE YOUR PHOTOS/SELFIES to compare every once in a while! Be your own motivation💪🏻
We did it!!! Baby girl and I went for our first ever stroller RUN. We did 4 miles total, including the pre and post walk.
It was blustery, her weight and the stroller combined is approximately 20 pounds, but we have no complaints! She was bundled in so many layers that the poor thing could barely move 😂😂, but she still gave big smiles to each person that passed us by👐🏻👶🏼.

Lol 😂 hopefully y'all know how to load up your plate this Thanksgiving so you don't have to do this. 😂😂😂
9 months in>> 10 months out ✨
I am just so grateful to be his mama.
What if we looked at ourselves the way we look at our babes?
What if we listened to and honored what our bodies needed instead of forcing ourselves to eat things or do things we don't want to do just to fit into societies standards of beauty?
Mama- if you are struggling with body image or self love- you're not alone. But it doesn't have to be that way!
My postpartum recovery was rocky in many ways but one thing I did well was allowing my body to heal on HER time. ✨I didn't put pressure to bounce back
✨I didn't put pressure to work out ✨I didn't compare myself to other women ✨I listened to my cravings postpartum ✨I used affirmations and gratitude daily ✨I tell my body every day how much I love and am so grateful for it.
And these things, my friends, make all the difference believe it or not. When you love your body it loves you RIGHT back.
So if you're on xyz diet and exercising every day and you're not seeing any results- take a moment and examine your self talk, it changes everything ✨
What is something you love about you body?
I’ve been non stop since 5am this morning 😨 I feel like a crazy person! One nice thing about snuggling this boy for two naps a day is that he forces me to stop and just be still. I love that my almost one year old still snuggles. Hoping for many years to come !
Who else had a snuggle baby!?
Had to share these words of support from the phenomenal @emilyfonnesbeck_rd

peeps out there. And if you aren’t at a place to honor any of these things listed, that’s ok too. Do the best you can to care for yourself on Thursday and honor your own process!
Keep these handy this week 🖤
