So this is my post workout meal aka 'breakfast'...very very strange πŸ˜‚When I'm working I don't have time to make it as it it a bit time consuming. It's 125gms basmati rice, 165 gms of egg whites which I make into a omelette with capsicum and mushrooms and 35gms of avocado. I used some low sugar tomato sauce on top too. I am also required to have a banana and a protein shake as well. Guten Abend #fitfam 😊 Heute kommt mein Post etwas verspΓ€tet, da ich noch bei meinen Papa war und jetzt erst heim gekommen bin. A question I get a lot: how do you fuel your long runs?! I experiment, but the most effective for me so far has been 2 things: sweet potato pancakes and pasta. I normally eat chickpea or veggie based pasta, but when it comes down to fueling for long runs I choose a rice or quinoa based gluten free pasta. every BODY is different, so what works for me may not work for you. I usually whip up a batch of pasta and throw in whatever is around - veggies, greens, protein (chicken, shrimp, steak, chicken sausage, etc) and I dress the whole thing in lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and feta if I have it! what do you use as your long run fuel?!?!
