I will forever be envy of those lifters who’s deadlift form/style is smooth and clean looking. Unfortunately for me, no matter the weight, it looks uncomfortable and rough. Even between 2 plates or 4 plates, it will still look the same. However this doesn’t mean my form is terrible (it certainly isn’t amazing), it’s just my deadlifting style that allows me to be at my strongest and also safe. I’ve worked on it for a while and it looks a little ‘rough’ but I guess it works. Honestly I could have probably gone for another 5 reps on this. **EDITED...because I can’t math** Wasn’t the best bench day but wasn’t the worst! Did 120# for a paused double. Felt really easy so I tried 130 for a paused double. Got the first one and the second went terribly wrong 😂. I did get another paused single at 130 after this so that was cool. I need to keep in mind that 120 was my 1 rep max not so long ago and now a double feels easy 🌈
