i am super stoked for our workshops this weekend. there is never enough time in a yoga class to focus 1:1 on someones needs or break down movements and poses in all the detail they deserve. teaching workshops is one of my favorite things to do and i am grateful for the yoga community that wants to invest in themselves and learn from us. another weekend of sold out workshops and hundreds more to come 🙏

Pivot torso/shoulders down,
Pivot hips square down (W3 + cactus 😉)
Rotate only torso to face the opposite side
Rotate torso back to ctr
Plant back toes down, heels stay up
Straighten front legs (still w/ a microbend)
(your choice, open or closed hips)
Don't forget the other side, please. (: One breath per movement,
better if you can hold for longer, calmer breath cycles

My name is Courtney, I’m a Yoga Teacher, BodyTalk Practitioner, and Co-owner here at SC! I’ve had a passion for people ever since I was a little girl. Since I can remember my dreams have involved helping people (and animals) feel better. I was lucky to grow up with a large family of 6 children. We were always there for each other and as we grow older it continues to be a major support system. My father suffered from mental illness until he took his own life, which is why mental health has always been at the forefront of how I like to show up and help people.
BodyTalk and Yoga have both been big players in the game of my mental and physical health, and that’s why I practice them today. For me, Yoga is a way to get out of my head and into my body. Allowing myself to leave everything at the door of the Yoga room and be present with my breath. Feeling safe being guided by a teacher while at the same time being reminded to listen to my body. Which is exactly what I love to bring into my classes, the importance of breath work, being present, connected, and listening to your own body. I am incredibly grateful that I get to share my love for Yoga with every person who shows up to my classes. Dreams do come true, and anything is possible when you allow it to be. Step into the world of power flow with this week-long challenge. This challenge consists of 7 days of vinyasa designed for you to move, breathe and flow in new ways ending with an amazing challenger only 90 min Yang/Yin Class.***
