❇️The calm before the storm or before deadlifts ripped a new ass in me. Today’s workout killed me again ! 4 sets of heavy squats then we had heavy singles after. Let’s just say 485lb felt like 800lb(i know this is only 455lb,
I did 485 after). But everyday we get better 💪🏽

Im still unable to squat or deadlift any real weight due to a injury Iv somehow sustained to my left glute. Just doing what I can without aggravating it further 🤬
Least bench is feeling decent!
▪Safety-bar squats: Just did some easy reps with a couple plates a side to keep moving.
▪Bench:📽 4sets, 4reps- 165kg (81%)
▪Slingshot bench:📽 3sets, 3reps- 190kg.
▪Upper-body hypertrophy: Pecs, triceps and delts. ------------

Top Sets - 140kg x 1, 145kg x 1 x 2 - Pause Bench @ 82.5kg/180lb weight class
Elbows and shoulders were SORE after fighting that wobbly squat bar yesterday (see last video - 245kg squats) so these became more of a grind. Happy none the less as a bit of rest and they should be good reps.

Last night #deadlifts
went much better than expected. 365x2 for two sets, noticed how bad my feet were sliding on the mat (maybe that is why i keep getting out of position and my back hurts 🧐) decides to ditch the shoes and go barefoot. 365x1 for that set because I took too long to set up and I knew in my head I always fail when I take that long between reps, also got an awesome foot cramp...who knew I could grab the floor so well with my toes? Then finished off the fourth set strong 365x2 as promised and felt absolutely amazing. Day 33 - complete rest! didn’t get much sleep last night so I feel exhausted and bloated, which is normal. My chest and biceps are still very sore from Sunday’s workout, my back is still sore from Monday’s workout and my legs are sore from Wednesday’s workout, as well as my shoulders and triceps are burning up from yesterday’s workout... I have never felt soreness and burning sensation on this level in my entire lifting of weights experience... I’m not lifting loads in terms of reps compared to my past methods of training, which involved variations of volume training... The training style of high intensity training allows me only to use 1 or maybe 2 working sets to get the working muscles to breakdown between 6-8 reps at a heavy weight - is probably the best training style I have ever used. My body is always burning up, and every time I eat i feel better. It feels like I’m almost feeding the muscles directly that I have worked on the day before. It’s an unreal feeling!
As crazy as this sounds I actually feel like putting on more size not because “everyone wants to be big”, it’s because I feel like I know what works for me to get big and stay fairly lean!

Managed some halfway heavy weight Saturday for some doubles. Very pleased with how my 3x2 looked overall. My only complaint would be waiting till the last minute before work to get this session in lol whoops.

So....squats do not aggravate this most recent tweak I’ve had (feels much better in terms of ROM today so I wanted to come in and do something, I know...stupid right?)
Decided to finally fuck around with wraps for this next meet. So I wanted to feel them out alittle with some manageable weights minus that fact that it’s completely different from sleeved squatting and I have no clue how to wrap. @stronghouseproject
Kratos wraps seem to be a great starting point, not that aggressive at all, great way to ease in to wraps cuz I’m a pussy. -

Update: I am currently back on IF, and planning to cut back some weight because I’ve been feeling like a blob. Purely for my own happiness, because I want to lose some fat. 🤷🏻♀️ Lets see how this goes.
