165 x 3 #Shoulderpress
with 2 extra push press! Despite the shoulder injury my shoulder press didn’t seem to be set back much, in fact this is the best I’ve done with this weight 🤷♂️ Rehab/Physio works!
I hope you guys are as consistent as you said you would be at the start of this month. We've got 11 months to go (not counting this month). How's your new years resolution holding up?
This is crazy! I have had issues with my back and neck for a while. It begins with pain under my right shoulder blade which will travel up to my shoulder and into my neck. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Deadlifts, bent over rows, T-bar Rows etc. contribute a lot to this pain. So much so, that I basically quit doing these exercises....until recently. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I began going to PT and to get dry needling done about 3 weeks ago. This is the video taken at my first visit. You can see on my right shoulder blade the muscle imbalance as I perform the light weight exercises. Basically my upper traps are over-developed and my lower traps are under-developed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are 17 muscles which attach to your shoulder blade and if some of these become stronger than others, it causes an imbalance. Ever since I started dry-needling and PT, I have much better range of motion and decreased pain. I’m still not close to 100% but I’m so happy I’m finally doing what should have done a long time ago!
It’s all about balance.
Most consistent cycle all year. Spoke with coach @phillip.pt
and expressed 5 days may be a hit and miss so we changed to 4 day program and boy my attendance has been spot on and gains piling on! 💰Banked my best 100kg clean and jerk. 😁
6 sets of 3 !!! Although not impressive to some of yall. I'd just like to note that A) I'm not a #powerlifter
B) On this day I weighed 142lbs!!! And this was at the end of my shift! My #spats
game was on point tho. Stay thirsty my friends
1x1 70kg High Bar Pause / 3x6 60kg •
Slowly adjusting to high bar and trying to make sure I avoid “butt-wink” lmfao.
1x1 57.5kg Block Pause Bench / 3x5 52.5kg
Bench was a bit meh today, accidentally did 6 for this set but it was closest to pause I managed. Felt really heavy today for some reason. Thanks @_liambrazil
for the help 🙌🏻
After a long weekend of snowboarding I welcomed myself home with Skwats and deads 🤘🤘
Vid 1 335x1
Vid 2 305x5
3x3 pauses at 295 (not shown)
Vid 3 345x2 (6th set- for form)
Legs were a little fried going in but I still felt like I could have thrown that 335 on squat through the roof!
I ❤️ to squat... I just can’t wait till I’m good at it 😭

VOLUME PB ON FRONT SQUATS
Managed a total of 10 reps on 140,this used to be my one rep max up until a few weeks ago when I discovered I could pull out 160.
First few reps were singles to test the adductor and the hammy is healing well to deadlift again now.
Also hit a pb on the good mornings 122.5kg for a couple sets of triple :) #gym #workout #fifness #strong #personaltrainer #gymbox #housemusic #powerlifter #crossfit
I'm back 245x4 squats & 2 set of 3 185 bench. Slowly my strength is coming faster than I expected. Feels good for muscle memory. 🙏 The Crew is Back! Shoutout to my friend for VIDEOBOMBING! 😂😂 #gymlife #grindmode #friends #crew #photobomb

If you’re a gym enthusiast, it’s the centerpiece of your leg day. If you’re a powerlifter, it sets the tone for any meet. It’s one of the most functional & most versatile exercises you can do, & there’s more than one way to get it done. If you’re not doing this exercise, do you really even lift? 🤔🤔🤔

I don't have a ton to say about this #transformationtuesday
but I'm feeling proud of all my hard work in the gym (and the kitchen, I guess 😁). .
I'm super appreciative of my workout buddies, @trombadeo
(who I truly adore) and @ryrysalman
, and my biggest yet least expressive cheerleader, @coachmadmaksym.
, who I miss so much and think about all the time. The gym isn't the same without you.
Blah blah blah
I could complain about how much this workout sucked but I still did it so why does it matter 🤷🏻♀️ I gotta stop complaining and just shut up and work.
Here are my first 6 out of 10000 reps with 225lbs (ps I still hate sumo my hips hurt). @roninisjosh
