Solid session outside of a mind lapse on my third set of bench. The high bars were a pretty solid PR for me in terms of reps. I’m enjoying the state of my training right now.

taking a smooth 455 single on Deads. This is someone who never sacrifices positioning to get more weight, and always keeps his lats loaded with tension throughout the movement. Really clean rep man, Great job!

This is from Monday but I thought it was kinda cute and I looked happier and healthier than I’ve felt over the past two days (viruses man, they’ll get ya). I’m also still super sore from my hiit/Ab day and it hurts every time I cough hahaha. I wanna train legs tomorrow but I don’t think that’ll happen unless I feel a lot better so tomorrow might be a chest day. I wanted to let you guys know tooo that I might not be posting as early/ as often coming up this next few days because I have exams and papers to work on but I will do my best! •
On another note, I’m going to be posting a stretching/ warm-up video tomorrow. It’s not something I normally would post but I think it’s super important and definitely something I plan on taking more seriously so you guys will have to check that out tomorrow! Goodnight y’all💖

Because of that, habits and consistency just matter more ... and the person who just simply shows up consistently for months and years in a row will always beat the hardcore super motivated person who gets bored or quits or loses when that motivation goes away.🐺😠🔁

I feel so BA!! I was able to take my bench from 95lbs to 120lbs!! Taking my squat from 225lbs to 235lbs!! And taking my deadlifts from 235lbs to 245lbs!! •

6 years in I’ve found this to be true for me. There aren’t any shortcuts, quick fixes, or easy ways to get results. You just gradually put weight on the bar over months and years. It’s the only way to consisntently keep getting stronger💪

One of the oldest and strongest deadlifters of back in the day. Bob Peoples deadlifted 725 lb. at 181 lb. body weight, on his small farm, in the 1940s. Some of the strength numbers of back in the day were really crazy and as good if not better than today. 👌🏋️♂️💪
