Receita de almoço low carb – salmão ao molho de limão
1 posta de salmão fresco;
1 ramo de tomilho;
1 limão siciliano;
5 folhas de alface crespa;
1 pé de rúcula;
tomate-cereja a gosto;
4 colheres de sopa de azeite;
sal a gosto;
ervas finas a gosto.
Modo de preparo:
Corte o salmão em postas. Abra folhas de papel alumínio, coloque o salmão no centro, regue com o azeite, um pouco de sal, tomilho e finalize com duas rodelas de limão siciliano e feche a folha de papel alumínio. Coloque na assadeira e leve ao forno a 180 graus por 40 minutos. Em uma tigela rasgue com as mãos as folhas e corte o tomate cereja ao meio. Retire com cuidado o alumínio do salmão e sirva com as folhas.

But if I approached that same beast with fear, it would bite off my head. Any equestrian would give you similar advice.
Today, I want you to serve the inner-jockey and inner-animal trainer. Make sure he feels good. Then when all is bueno again, take to taming your beast. (Qabalah talk: Strength is placed between Geburah and Chesed. It is therefore representing a very large, sometimes stressful energy. I decided to do a #eggfast
to kickstart myself back into ketosis. My diet has been inconsistent and kind of shitty (if I’m being honest.) In general, I’ve fallen out of the routine I’d established with work, workouts, and eating and I’ve been struggling to get back into one. Extreme measures always work to get me refocused.
Egg fast Day 2 definitely took a bit of a toll on my 13 miles this AM, but refueled with this omelette stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese and Italian blend cheeses. 👌🏻

When it comes to nutrition there has always been an emphasis placed on carbs and/or protein over fat however dietary fat is still an essential macronutrient which offers many benefits for both GAINS & HEALTH/OTHER.
Gains: As lifters, fat can influence anabolic hormone concentrations which may be of interest when seeking LBM gain (Volek et al 1997, Salter & Phillips 2011). Diets low in fat (<20%) have shown to result in significant reductions in test (Dorgan et al 1996, Hämäläinen et al 1983) HOWEVER, research suggests that a drop in test doesn’t necessarily equate to a loss of LBM & that, when protein is matched, a higher carb intake (Mettler et al 2010) appears to be more effective at preventing LBM loses than a lower carb/higher fat approach (Walberg et al 2007). In layman’s terms, maintaining/increasing carbs to fuel lifting performance (with adequate protein of course) is more effective for gains than trying to maintain test with higher fat intakes. Furthermore, if adopting a loorlw fat approach, there is still evidence showing it may be possible to attenuate the aforementioned drop in test by maintaining adequate consumption of saturated fat (Lambert et al 2004). Now, while the above may make fat seem inferior, that doesn’t then suggest you go FULLY low fat as fats are needed for.
Health/other: Healthy fats have shown to have the ability to reduce cardio disease (Perez-Jimenez, et al 2002, Richter 2003), joint & soft tissue inflammation (Browning 2003), mediate psychiatric function (Logan 2003), alter neuro-endocrine activity (Delarue et al 2003) & aid in bone health (Albertazzi & Coupland, 2002) which are all of great benefit to ANYONE (not just athletes) thus you’d be silly not to still have SOME in your diet. How much then?
Overall it seems that 20-30% total kcal towards fat is suffice in order to optimize hormone lvls. in athletes (Bird 2010) while still a high enough % to reap the aforementioned health/other benefits (Gifford 2002). “ -

The fishing from the boat was a little slow yesterday, but Fernando treated us to the most amazing fresh seafood feast: the best oysters I’ve ever tasted, shrimp agua chile, octopus salad, ceviche, whole snappers- all served with piles of pico de gallo. We watched the seafood come straight out of the water and into the kitchen. Amazing. I will be reminiscing about this meal for a long time.

Esse tipo de desculpa é um subterfúgio muito comum de quem não está realmente comprometido com os seus objetivos.
Seja para emagrecer, seja para qualquer outro projeto, se você deixa de se comprometer porque é uma data específica, você precisa entender que as chances desse projeto fracassar são muito grandes.
Essa é uma das razões pelas quais você precisa encarar uma mudança na alimentação como parte de uma mudança de um estilo de vida, não como algo temporário. Aquilo que você faz com prazo de validade, tende a não funcionar do jeito que você gostaria.
Se você encara as mudanças de hábitos como um “sofrimento”, fazendo o que tem que ser feito durante a semana apenas para “cumprir tabela”, você nunca irá chegar o fim de semana com sangue nos olhos de quem quer ganhar um campeonato.
Quando abracei um estilo de vida saudável, não foquei na parte negativa. Eu só enxergava e enxergo até hoje, meu propósito inabalável à longo prazo. E, aprendi a ser assim com todos os meus projetos.
Tenho clareza do que eu quero, foco naquilo e vou até conseguir. Quando você decide “se permitir” comer coisa X, está se permitindo sabotar o seu projeto.
Precisa se perguntar o quanto isso é realmente relevante pra você. Senão vai acabar entrando para as estatísticas de pessoas que fracassam na dieta e acabam culpando a própria dieta como “terrorismo nutricional”, que é a desculpa do momento, junto com o discurso de aceitação para pessoas que não têm coragem o suficiente para encarar uma mudança com todos os sacrifícios envolvidos.
