Startade dagen med frukost ute på altanen. Lätt att bli slö där, så första träningspasset dröjde ut lite mer än planerat på tiden😇
Drog iväg till boxen hela familjen och fick dela upp ansvaret för Gustaf på en halvtimme vardera...den lille mannen hade stort behov av att ha ngn nära och då blir det inte mkt träning utfört💙

Det är under simningen mitt lilla pb kommer in! Jag var trött i överkroppen efter mitt pass i boxen, och tyckte att jag simmade på lugnare än övriga gånger. Visade sig dock hålla nästintill samma tempo ändå...Efter 1:a km började jag träna på att simma under vattnet. De första gångerna kom jag ärligt talat bara 10m. Det kändes väldigt kort, så jag fortsatte...kom upp till ca 18m och trodde att jag nått mitt max. Var tvungen att prova igen, kom ett halvt simtag från 25m kanten och blev lite irriterad på mig själv. Ett halvt simtag, det är ju ingenting!
Gjorde ett sista försök och klarade 25m under vattnet! 😀🙈💦
Nästa mål får bli att klara 25m ”utan att behöva kämpa för det” 👊

Why constantly being in a 'dieting' mindset can be destructive.
⭕️ Left - around 80-81 kgs during prep, before this I was pretty damn miserable. I kind of forgot how to enjoy myself at the fear of not looking lean. I became a 'hermit' so to speak, it actually became worse as I got older. My main priorities were training and work, I started to lose the passion for training and I knew I had to change something.
⭕️ Right - sitting around 88-89 kgs during prep 3 years later. FAR happier because I ditched the 'dieters' mindset and started to eat lots more food. In part I owe that to my relationship as it 'woke me up' so to speak. I was able to enjoy social events, go out and not worry about if I was constantly 'lean'. I found my love for training again and became obsessed with getting stronger and improving my gym performance.
The dieting mindset is a major issue for females but it's becoming more prevalent amongst males. Being self conscious is a normal thing, we all feel it, heck I still do now at times. However being comfortable within your own skin will stop you having to feel like you need to constantly diet. Not going to pretend I didn't have to deal with this, at times it was pretty bad.
This is usually not a topic spoken about but having past issues of being overweight can play a big role on the way you think about food/training. If you're not chasing a specific goal then enjoying food with friends and family shouldn't be considered a 'cheat'. There are times where you need to more strict but no how to differentiate between the two.
Don't ground yourself into the ground and be miserable, I've been there and it SUCKS.

Started to involved these B.B. RESTING CURLS into my training the last few months. Aside from my arm blaster and fat grip work this has to be my favourite bicep exercise. It’s impossible to cheat form requiring pure bicep power to lift the weight from a dead stop. Being seated will keep your body fixed allowing no swing to assist the weight.
One step back, 2 steps forward. Getting into the right mindset can be one of the hardest things to do. How determined are you to achieve your goals?
