#Latergram from a couple of days ago, because today I woke up feeling and looking a little like 💩. Happy #flexfriday !
To my clients please read this. . . Repost from @cartergood A lot of coaches don’t like using body weight to track progress. ⠀ They say it’s unreliable (which, if you’re using it wrong, is true) and all it does is frustrated their clients 🤬 ⠀ And I agree that, for some people, it might make sense to forego the scale... But that does NOT mean tracking weight is worthless. ⠀ Body weight alone isn’t a great marker of progress, but it absolutely can be when it’s used correctly and alongside other forms of progress (like measurements and photos)! ⠀ But here’s the problem ❌ —> Most people don’t know how to “read” the scale. ⠀ They’ll see a small jump and freak out. Or they’ll get excited about a big drop (often called a “whoosh”), but then have it followed by a week or two of no change and assume they’re plateaued... ⠀ Here’s the Truth ✅ —> Your weight will NOT go down linearly, day-to-day, week-to-week. ⠀ For most people, it'll look like this: ⠀ They’ll have a big drop in weight (their “whoosh”), go up a little, hold steady for a bit, and then repeat the process. ⠀ For some people this happens on a weekly basis, for some, it’s a monthly basis. It really just depends on how YOUR body responds. ⠀ My advice? Use the scale to track your progress, but understand how it works and make sure you're using it the right way. ⠀ It’s not going to drop in a predictable fashion. It’ll go up and down sporadically, sometimes for no good reason at all! ⠀ Knowing that ☝️, you shouldn’t freak out every day it doesn’t move the way you want. ⠀ Instead, pay attention to long-term trends 📉 ⠀ When I'm working with clients, I have them take their weight daily and then using that data to find weekly/monthly averages. ⠀ Make sure you’re taking measurements and pictures too. Not all progress is well reflected on the scale. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #cartergood #weightloss #weightlossjourney #weightlossprogress #weightlosssupport #weightlossstruggle #weightlossmotivation #weightlosstips #bodyweight #losingweight #nonscalevictory #nsv #fatloss #fatlossjourney #progress #dieting #fitness #fit #fitnessprogress #measurements #progresspic #fitnessjourney #fitnesstips #weightlosscoach #fitnesscoach

ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN’ OVER THE MOON!!! Hit a PB on deadlifts today while training with @nathanbaldry and @nickjpg88 I know the form is slightly off and my back has a slight curve in it but I got the fucking weight up and I’m STOKED. Considering my last PB was 170kg that I hit last week I’m really happy. Legit thought I was gonna throw up half way into lifting it but I soldiered on and got it done. Buzzing, working sets: 60kg x10 100kg x5 140kg x2 180kg x1 (shown)
#fridaymotivation 🤗FRIYAY! We made it to the end of another killah week but you gotta finish this weeks goals STRONG💪🏽with that last #dailysweat before kicking those feet up to relax for the weekend ☀️👙🌊 You got this my lovely #fitfam 🏋🏽‍♀️👻maddlove27 #fitlatina #colombianfitgirls #fitfriday
Working out around 5 times a week rather than 8-9, having time off when I want rather than stressing and forcing myself to workout, eating a balanced diet rather than a fully clean diet & enjoying life too much to care about having abs anymore 🙊 #absareoverrated #happierandhealthier #positivity #selfconfidence #behappy #pineapplehead #gymsharkwomen
A tremendous post from my friend @marcus__rice on THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SCALE that I completely agree with. The rest are his words: - Don't follow @marcus__rice if you don't like helpful fitness content - How many of you have stepped onto a scale and seen a number that you were frustrated by? - I know I have. I know a lot of you probably have as well. - But here is the thing: there is A LOT of information that the scale doesn't tell you. I've listed only some of them in the graphic. - It certainly doesn't have anything to say about your self-worth or value as a woman or man. - Don't even let it hold enough power over you to make you frustrated if you don't like what you see when you step onto it. - But here's another thing: the scale is not a monster that needs to be cast out of all of our homes and gyms. - As long as we hold it in proper esteem and see it for what it is, it can actually be a VERY useful tool for helping track your fitness progress. By weighing yourself daily, you can look at your weekly trends which allows you to at least partially see how your body is responding to the diet and exercise protocol you are putting it through, and if any tweaks need to be made. - It isn't the only tool that is helpful; I would also recommend using progress pics, body measurements, how your clothes fit, and how your feel to track progress. - Comment THREE emojis that represent your feelings about the scale below👇🏽 - Thoughts? I'd live to hear them below. - 💙, Marcus - - - #fitness #gym #fitnesstips #scale #weight #weightscale #progress #progressnotperfection #progresspic #weightloss #fatloss #weightlossjourney #fatlossjourney #femalefatloss #femalefitness #femaleentrepreneur #girlboss #girlbosses #onlinecoach #dieter #diet #dietplan #fatloss
So today I sent my first check in photos 🙈 I am far from shredz. My body shape is of a girl who follows her macros but eats like a horse 😂 and I’m good with it. My body allows me to lift heavy, gets me through 12.5 hour shifts at work and I am able to live the life I want and I am very grateful for that. Having said that I am very excited to start this new plan and cannot wait to see the results. You need to be able to love your body at all stages. Losing weight, weighing a certain number etc will not make you happy. Embrace your flaws, accept them, take pride in them. If you want to make a change you need to work for it. Enjoy the process, learn about yourself, learn from others. Someone can give you a workout and or nutrition plan but if you aren’t willing to work hard you won’t see results. The onus is on you and you alone! #startofsomethingnew #newplan #dailygrind #gains #girlswholift #girlsthatlift #health #selflove #nutrition #wpt #strengthtraining #strengthcoachcardiff #balancednotclean #TeamSmart #trainhard #iifym #iifymgirls #intermittentfasting #ifitfitsyourmacros #instafit #fitfam #fitness #fitfamuk #flexibledieter #flexibleeating #flexibledieting #eattogrow #eatforbalance #sorryaboutthebum #progresspic
I was surprised how many asked if I had any “before” photos, how long I’ve been on my fitness journey, ect. I’ve been sharing for so long that I forget many of you are still new around here.🤗 . The photo on the left is a few months after I had my son, taken when I first began my fitness journey. Dealing with post-partum anxiety coupled with a very poor mind/body relationship, I was in a dark place and unhealthy not just physically but mentally and emotionally. I had NEVER been a “health” person growing up and never exercised consistently in my adult life. I viewed exercise as the ultimate chore and thought “healthy” eating meant severe restriction or extreme fad diets. I desperately needed to make a change and a doctor suggested daily exercise may help with my anxiety. That seemed far too simple to be true, but within weeks of consistently being active I felt an immense difference. FAR BEFORE I SAW CHANGES IN THE MIRROR I FELT CHANGES IN MY MIND. Self confidence and self-love started to blossom and THAT WAS EVERYTHING. Don’t get me wrong, I STRUGGLED at first. I started and stopped many times. I could not complete one push-up or Leg Raise and felt weak and utterly overwhelmed. But every time I “quit”, I began again. I had NO idea implementing an active lifestyle would lead me to find my true passion in fitness, eventually switching my career to become a professional trainer and pour my heart into writing programing and motivating women all over the world to help them on their own journeys to live healthier and love themselves. But now I cannot fathom doing anything else. And I am SO PROUD of that girl on the left. drowning in anxiety, insecurity, and self-doubt, I made the choice to DO. To work every damn day and help myself no matter how impossible it felt, how long the road seemed, and how heavy the weight on my chest. I know it may not be the popular answer or what you want to hear but THERE IS NO SECRET TO MY “TRANSFORMATION”. There is simply four years of hard work and consistency. Of trying and failing and learning and pushing forward. You don’t need hours in a gym or extreme diets. You need a healthy mindset and to never give up on yourself.🖤
THIS client and friend continually makes me so happy with her progress because she works so hard and completely understands the consistency it takes to change your body. She and I will be going on nine months of working together and she realizes to build a sustainable, active lifestyle- it won’t happen overnight! Keep up the amazing work, my friend!

Trained hard this afternoon, Glutes & hammys session! Legs are very achy and tired after that workout, the thought of stairs makes me feel tired 😂😫 good feeling afterwards though knowing you’ve trained hard and pushed your body. It all started with in 2014 with a reason why I wanted to change my health, my body and my strength. I was following a friend on ig and he was working with a trainer, I was immediately motivated. I knew she would be the one to help me prepare for my first Tough Mudder. I worked with her for a month before the event, and even in those first few weeks I lost fat and gained enough strength to get me through the course!! Ever since then she has been my trainer and friend. She helped me get through injuries, a few actually, she helped me get stronger and stronger through 3 Tough Mudder events and each one I’ve felt my strength increase more and more. She’s helped me transform my body in ways I didn’t think I was capable of, from no booty to booty to completely changing my nutrition that fuels my body for health and gains. She is now helping me get through my pregnancy with the best and most effective exercises. So if you’re even curious or have an itch for wanting change, she will be more than happy to help you. It’s taken me 4 years, there is no time clock or race, she works with your schedule, your reasons and/or challenges to help you succeed!! @bodyimagefitness you’re the best and I love you!!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽. #fitness #fitnesspage #fitnessjourney #myfitnessjourney #fitnesspregnancy #mypregnancyjourney #pregnancy #mytrainerisbetterthanyours #mytrainer #toughmudder #training #bodyimagefitness #bodyimagefitnessmade #strong #transformation #progress #progresspic #fbf
3 MONTHS DIFFERENCE, aaaand... . Some other things that make the difference between these pics bigger than it is: 🔥 High-waisted leggings 🔥 My posture is better(not sure how much it shows, but I’ve worked hard on straightening my back and stop slouching) 🔥 My arms are more up instead of by my sides, which elongates the body and stretches everything out - Not gonna lie, there’s definitely a difference either way, but if you feel like someone’s progress is hella big - keep an eye out for these things 🤷🏼‍♀️ 👉🏼Good posture, for me, has been the key to changing the way I carry myself. Forcing my shoulders back instead of caving in on myself in an attempt to ‘hide’ - it’s definitely done great things for my confidence! That’s also a huge factor in the way you(and others!) perceive yourself: C. O. N. F. I. D. E. N. C. E. 💁🏼‍♀️👸🏼 Wherever you are on your journey RIGHT NOW; keep that chin high, those shoulders back, that chest out - carry yourself like a fighter, a boxer on their way to the ring, because that’s what you are. Whatever changes you’re making to live a happier and/or healthier, more balanced life - be frikkin’ PROUD of yourself for making those changes! And then go show the whole damn world how GOOD that proudness is looking on you✨
Since I’m sharing this journey.... here we go. . This is why those before pics are so important. I like to take my measurements and pics every Friday. Please note that week 1 for me always shows a decent change because I lose that bloat from the weekend. . But this keeps me motivated and in check. . -4.4 lbs -.8% Body fat -3 inches My metabolic age is still 42. I’ve got work to do! . . . #halfmarathonprep #40nfit #progresspic #week1 #week1done #liift4coachtestgroup #fitinmy40s
Oh my, when the photo on the left was taken several years ago - I thought it was one of the rare GOOD ones of me 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 don’t know what I was thinking! I never walked out of the house/cabin without having a thick line of black eyeliner and blue mascara on. I remember always asking my mom and sister if my face looked fat - why I was so concerned with that and not with my whole body being fat? Who knows - maybe I was thinking if people look at my face (like I do with them), they wouldn’t care about the size of my body. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Like I’ve said before - I have always always always cared what other people thought of me. Whether it was how I acted, if I was skinny enough or pretty enough. And nowadays - I still struggle with it, but not nearly as bad as I used to be. It sucks how much influence social media and society has on many people growing up - I wish I could break down all those constructs, as I’m sure others do too. I’m learning slowly not to care so much, and to stop comparing myself to others as much as I do. I definitely struggle hard with it some days more than others. But I need to remember that the only person I should compare myself to - is the person I was yesterday. I will never ever gain the weight that I have lost back - I will maintain and continue to get leaner. Who’s with me? . . . . . #facetofacefriday #facetoface #beforeandduring #loveyourself #fitfam #progressnotperfection #progress #progresspic #weightloss #weightogoleana #weightlossstory #weightlossjourney #weightlosstransformation #transformation #obesetobeast #extremeweightloss #naturalweightloss #fattofit #selflove #selfappreciation #selfloveisthebestlove #fitspiration #watchmeshrink #losingweight #nonscalevictory #nsv #healthylifestyle #workingonme #excercise #lift
Lately i've noticed that i can for a long time without sweets or junk food, as i don't care tbh. Only thing i love and missed was pizza which i ate yesterday, and Oreo but you can fit it easily in your macros 😍. _______________________________________________________There is no guilt in what you desire to eat, as long as you keep your ass moving and staying healthy. About body weight 🤔 . #Repost @cartergood ・・・ . Another cheeky work selfie 😋 the scale hasn’t moved in a while (stuck at 117-119lbs forever I guess) but looking at pics from 4-6 weeks ago I think I look a little bit leaner. My legs definitely are, but forever chasing that lower ab definition 😝😅 Still gaining strength despite being at a small deficit, so def not complaining 💪🏼 . . . . . #vegangains #veganmuscle #veganswholift #whatveganslooklike #girlswholift #abs #strength #lifting #fitness #motivation #progress #progresspic
Hey guys where you at!? Guess what! Men take care of their skin too. Healthy skin isn’t just for women. 🙅🏼‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ryan is proof! He used our Redefine Regimen, AMP’d it up, and also used our Multi Function Eye Cream. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Good skin takes time to achieve. I know I have definitely not taken the best care of my skin and reversing time takes time but it’s so worth it! 💫 . . . #realmenrealresults #menofrf #washyourface

July progress pics. - Putting on mass slowly but surely, at about 500g per month. Sure it's slow, but it's quality mass. 💪 - Honestly, as a natural bodybuilder, I've always preached taking a slow and consistent approach. 💯Too many times I've seen people try to rush results and crash and burn. - Fitness isn't a one-two year thing, it's a lifetime commitment - a lifestyle. Take your time to build quality mass, put in the effort, and the results will follow. 🔥 - Many of the advice you find online are written by 'enhanced' athletes which aren't optimal for nattys at all. If you're following the bulk/cut style of dieting, I personally feel it's detrimental to a natural. As a natural, following an overly aggressive bulk phase will cause an extreme increase in body fat to muscle ratio. While a aggressive cut will result in a huge amount of muscle lost along with fat. (Definitely not an ideal situation since you've worked so hard to put on the muscle you're now losing.) This is a scenario 'enhanced athletes' will not experience. - Therefore, I'd recommend taking a lean bulk approach. ✔️Aim to put on mass slowly over time. 500g over 12 months is a solid 6kg of muslce gained. (Alongside the strength you'll be gaining.)💯👊 - If youre looking to build an incredible physique and build the body of your dreams, follow my Instagram💪 and check out my blog!!😀 🔥💯💯💯 - #bodybuilding #bulking #fitness #fitspo #fitfam #fitnessaddict #fitnesstrainer #fit #gym #gymlife #progresspic #fatloss #fatlossjourney #muscle #consistency #dedication #gymgains #instafit

Progress....... Best I’ve looked/felt in a long time. This is the most consistent I’ve been to the workout, the longest I’ve gone with out partying and = the best I’ve felt since I can remember. I currently still eat like shit. I ate McDonald’s for breakfast yesterday morning, had my post work out Surge and gas station food for lunch and taco bell for dinner. 🤢🤢🤢 Hotel to hotel.... no kitchen. The diet part is hard. Point is I’m getting huge results from Surge, the consistent work out and not drinking. Woke up EARLY to crush DAY 49 of my workout program! Waking up early and sticking to a workout program - two things that do NOT come natural to me, but I pushed through it because I want to be the best and most healthy version of myself that I can. It's been such a rewarding and wonderful surprise to myself that I've been able to get this far! Are you consistently pushing yourself? ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #cartergood #weightloss #weightlossjourney #weightlossprogress #weightlosssupport #weightlossstruggle #weightlossmotivation #weightlosstips #bodyweight #losingweight #nonscalevictory #nsv #fatloss #fatlossjourney #progress #dieting #fitness #fit #fitnessprogress #measurements #progresspic #fitnessjourney #fitnesstips #weightlosscoach #fitnesscoach #fatlosscoach
Trying so hard to suck it in!!! But I just drank 2 large glasses of water and I'm super bloated from my period. But I still think I'm looking foine! Just finished week 3 of round 2 of BBG. I slept about 14 hours last night and I am still exhausted (dumb period) and I could barely make it through 1 round of all the moves of each set. But one not so good day isnt going to ruin my progress!! I am so excited it is Friday! Yay weekend!!
Since my old account doesn’t want to cooperate and let me use all the new features 🤷🏻‍♀️
Happy #facetofacefriday everyone! #AstrosEdition #CouplesEdition We actually went to the Astros game on the same day a year apart. ⚾ So here's my testament to how my surgeries has helped both of us lose weight. My fiance has lost about 30 lb, and I've lost 80 lb. 👫🏼 He doesn't really follow Keto except for the dinners that I make him, but overall making better choices and eating less has helped both of us out. 💪 #face2face #progresspic #progressphoto #transformation #transformationjourney #vsg #keto #ketodiet #gastricsleeve #bariatriccommunity #bariatricsurgery #wlsjourney #wlscommunity #wls #weightloss
HAPPY FRIDAY!! 🌞 . Just a little non scale victory for y'all today! #nsv 💕 . Today I am finally wearing my size 10 jeans again! Two and a half months ago my size 12 jeans were TIGHT AF! I'm so happy 💪 . And yes I have like one pair of jeans in every size from an 8 to 14 because before I found the program I'm doing now my weight was a roller coaster! For real. 😂 . I don't want or need to be "skinny" or "smaller" that's not my goal anymore. I just want to be healthy and balanced and be working on a better ME every day! And I will take whatever victories come along the way 👌👈 . #nonscalevictory #victory #weightlossjourney #weightloss #bodypositivity #bossbabe #kween #kweensquad #teamaspireforhigher #beautystrengthworth #progress #progresspic #muscles #babymuscles #strong #strongisthenewskinny #liift4 #b4liift4 #liift4ready #workingout #workoutathome #athomeworkout #thesweatlife #friday #friyay #birkenstocks #ae #americaneagle
August 2013 vs July 2018 , with training 5/6 days a week and less on the rare occasions. I remember when I took the pictures on the left, I had recently just started training properly and was starting to develop muscles on my back. Sincerely it creeped me tf out cause it looked weird to me as at then. It looked nothing like the end goal and I thought I was developing some sort of deformed physique. I literally stopped training my back from that point, until I was informed that it takes time to actually build a full solid back so I went back to the gym and continued training. I did not know much about muscles back then and expected to see overnight results, I thought a few months of hardcore training would get me to the end goal, nah, I was wrong. And even at this point, it is still work in progress, every single tiny muscle built along the way counts. So when you see people with physiques you appreciate, understand that it is years (not weeks or months) of hardwork! There is no overnight transformation! Yes there are weekly and monthly progresses, but a full solid package takes years of crafting and consistency! But also remember, building muscles isn’t about throwing heavy weights around, it’s about stimulating muscles (not bones!) - #bodytransformation #abs #muscle #cardio #fitnessaddict #strong #gymlife #fitnessmodel #flexfriday #gymmotivation #fitnessmotivation #shredded #crossfit #bodygoals #fitgirl #gains #aesthetics #fitlife #girlswholift #fitspiration #body #muscles #physique #active #determination #nopainnogain #nutrition #gymtime #beastmode #progresspic

" Every morning you have two choices: continue to sleep with your dreams, or wake up and chase them" I'm definitely waking up and chasing mine! What about you? July progress. Nothing majorly has changed apart from losing a bit of muscle due to lack of strength training, but that's ok. I will be back home soon and I will be on my normal diet and routine again. Last photo (half my body)~ Still got some belly fat to burn 🔥 but at least I know that I have come quite far from last year as you can tell by my stretch marks. That's how overweight I was. Overweight is an understatement more like obese 😂. Can't wait to be joining a new gym as well 💪🏻 #workhardplayhard #fitness #motivation #progresspic
Maybe TMI but... NSV ALERT!!! Y’all I shared this with some of my #fitfam the other night, and well, I noticed it again so I HAD to take a picture!! When you’re as overweight as I was, you find excuses for everything— including why you buy bath sheets instead of bath towels, “they’re so big I love it!” Ummm no, I don’t. While 1 feels luxurious, buying all but 2 of your towels as sheets, well it’s pricey. And I did it because I was uncomfortable in a towel that didn’t wrap completely around my body. BUT this bath towel (not sheet) is a standard size... and IT CLOSED. No skin exposed. Okay, it barely closed, but it CLOSED!!! Little things like this that thin people don’t normally think about— heavier people do. All of the freaking time. It’s little annoying things in your life, like having to buy a bigger towel, I mean come on!!!?!?!? I never thought that a towel would ever elicit such a response from me, but I SURE AS SHIT am glad it is— M O T I V A T I O N GALORE. And yeah, I cried. Feeling confident in my skin and seeing my progress is pretty amazing. . If you’re ready, if you’re nervous, if you’re just STUCK— DM or email me, let’s chat. . #nsv #itsthelittlethings #obesetobeast #girlsgotgoals #myweightlossjourney #loveyourself #findyourstrong #fitfam #progresspic #nurseswholift #gettingfit #girlswholift #friday #cheerstotheweekend #celebratesuccess #summer #summervibes #bbg #thisis30something #thickwomen #loveyourself #believeinyou #chooseyourself #challengegroup

Last night was the first time in my life I wore shorts out in public for a date night! You can't tell by looking at me, but I struggled with a lot of insecurity over my legs. I wouldnt wear shorts or dresses. I was literally afraid to show them... until now!!! It was still a little uncomfortable, but I pushed through and it was incredibly rewarding to finally conquer one of my biggest fears!!! #fitnessmotivation #progress #progresspic #transformation #legs #buildmuscle #burnfat #girlswholift #liftingweights #hereiam #fitness #bodybuilding #nojudgement #hatersgunnahate #goodvibesonly #justgettingstarted #excited #thankful #justdoit #onlyonelife #conqueryourfears #improving #workingonmyself #empoweringwomen
