Happy #FoodFriday everyone! Today we are sharing one of Jo’s favourite recipes: cottage cheese buns 👌🏻 They're quick and easy to make, high in protein & fibre, and filling - perfect for breakfast or the lunch box😋 Tastes good with both savoury and sweet toppings. Recipe below! ______________________________________________ You need: 250 gr cottage cheese • 250 gr oats / oat flour • 2 eggs • 1 ts baking powder • 1 pinch salt • water. Combine the dry ingredients before adding the eggs, cottage cheese and a little water. Be careful not to add too much water: it should be a dense mixture which will hold it shape as you form it into buns. Blend everything together with a hand mixer. Form into golf ball sized buns - the mixture is sticky to work with so wet your hands beforehand to make it easier. Bake for 20 minutes on 200 degrees.

an oldie but a goodie . chickpea blondies at 37 Calories a piece , you can fit them into any diet protocol ! . . 37 Calories 3.6g Protein 3.3g Carbs 1g Fat per piece recipe Chickpea Blondie 125g drained Chickpeas 100g Egg whites 40g PPB (reduced fat peanut flour) 20g Vanilla Protein Powder 20g Coconut Flour 50g Apple Puree (baby pots will do) 50ml Almond Milk a few drops of vanilla extract 1 tsp Baking Powder 40g Truvia (or any sweetener of your choice, taste the batter !) chocolate chips (optional ) . Method Preheat oven to 170 Prepare a baking tray with baking paper . In a bowl mix the PPB, Protein Powder, Coconut Flour, baking powder and sweetener together until well mixed . Then blend the chickpeas with the egg whites, apple puree milk and vanilla extract until smooth, I find it easier to get a smoother puree then blending all the ingredients at once. . Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well, reserve 2 tablespoons of the mixture and set aside. then finally add the chocolate chips if using. Pour into the baking tray smooth the surface. . Add 1 tsp of cocoa powder to the 2 tablespoons of batter you reserved, if it gets too thick add a little almond milk. Now add the chocolate batter into the baking tray and use a thin knife of skewer to swirl the chocolate into the batter bake in the oven for approx 18-20 minutes

testing out these new protein pancakes I got from @postedprotein . Individually packaged and filled with either chocolate or vanilla filling. swipe across for an inside shot . it does have the texture of a pancake albeit a bit more on the cakey side and the chocolate filling is good . A quick blitz in the microwave takes it to another level . #throwbackthursday to my recent trip to Bordeaux with the girls... lots of laughter, love, relaxation, self-care, a little wine 🍷 and amazing seafood. I do wish we could get these amazing king prawns on our doorstep here... freshly cooked simply with garlic, served with salad and a beautiful paella rice. Prawns are a great source of protein, healthy fats and minerals like selenium and zinc, plus cooked with garlic they are also supportive of our gut bacteria (butter is the ideal accompaniment for taste but I’ll be swapping for coconut oil which is #dairyfree ) I’m going to cook some (smaller prawns) tonight, they may not be fresh but I’ll use raw frozen (then defrosted). Maki California Poulet/Mayo-Avocat-Concombre-Ognons Frits. MAKI CALIFORNIA Ingrédient : - 250g de riz à Maki - 35cl d'eau - 3 cas de vinaigre de riz - 1 et demi cas de sucre - Une pincée de sel - Graine de sesame ( ou ognon frit ) - Feuille algue sèches - Garniture: avocat , concombre , saumon , poulet .. A little introduction of myself! 😌 If you're reading this then hello. My name is Paige and I am a 22 year old mother of two little girls. 👭 During the last year I have lost a very nice 4.1 stone bringing my weight down from 14.5 stone - 10.4 stone (current) although my lowest weight has actually been 10 stone. CUPCAKE KINDER BUENO Pour environ 6 🍰 Ingrédient : - 90g farine - 1 œuf - 2cas yaourt végétal ( ou fromage blanc ) - 2 cas de pâte à tartine @womensbest ( ou Nutella ) - 1cas huile de coco - 1 sachet de levure - 30g de sucre - Extrait ou gousse de vanille Pour le glaçage : - 250g mascarpone - 3cas sucre glace - 10cl lait de noisette ( ou normal ) - 2 Paire de Kinder Étapes : *Préchauffer a 180 1: Prépare la sauce au Kinder pour le nappage ; Dans une casserole écrasé les Kinder , à feux mini Ajouter Le lait petit à petit laisser bien fondre et passe la préparation dans la petite passoire avec les tout petit trou la Laisser repose au frigo 2: Dans un saladier fouetté œuf + sucre , Mélanger la farine avec la levure et l'huile avec Le yaourt ( ou fromage ) et le Nutella Ajouter la moitié du mélange farine levure à celui de œuf et sucre puis incorporer le mélange de huile -yaourt -Nutella Bien Mélanger et recommence dans la même ordre avec les préparation restante 3: Mettre les cassette en papier Dans les moules et verser la préparation de au 3/4 Cuire 20mn et laisse BIEN BIEN refroidir PENDANT CE TEMPS .. 4: Mélanger la mascarpone et le sucre glace Y ajouté la sauce Nutella qu'on a mis Dans Le frigo et continue à mélanger DÉLICATEMENT pour pas rendre la mascarpone Trop liquide. CHEESECAKE FRAMBOISE - SPÉCULOS Ingrédient : - 250g biscuit spéculos - 50g beurre fondu - 250g yaourt végétal ( ou fromage blanc ) - 150g Philadelphia lights ( ou normal ) - 20cl crème liquide soja ( ou normal) - 1 cas jus de citron - 50g de sucre - 3 œufs - 200g framboise fraîche - Pâte de spéculos Étapes : Préchauffer le four à 180 1: Chemiser votre moule à charnière amovible de papier cuisson 2: Mixer les spéculos puis mélanger au beurre fondu jusqu'à obtenir une pâte granuleuse . Tapissez le fond du moule en tassant bien pour obtenir une épaisseur régulière 3: Mélanger Le yaourt ( ou Le fromage blanc ) Avec Le fromage frais Philadelphia, la crème liquide et Le jus de citron . Ajouter ensuite Le sucre et les œufs fouetter un par un . 4: Versez la préparation dans le moule et enfourner 55mn , sortez le Cheesecake du four et laissez le refroidir avant de Le Mettre au frigo pour Minimum 12h 5: Passer ce temps, faire fondre la pâte de spéculos au bain Marie ou Mettre Le pot directement dans une casserole d'eau au feu jusqu'à que à pâte soit fondu , nappez Le Cheesecake avec la pâte et décoré avec les framboise et des brisure de spéculos . GOOD FOODS VS BAD FOODS by @fitterbodyplan. - 100% natural fruit smoothie, plus smashed avocado and an egg on a slice of toast. Most of you will by default say this is the "better" option - it has more nutrients, more natural ingredients and is filling too. - Behind door number 2 we have the "bad" option. Egg and bacon McMuffin plus a regular cappuccino from McDonald's. Higher salt, saturated fats, more processed, less fibre, less natural ingredients, lower nutritional value. - But overall calories come out roughly the same. - For fat loss, calories is still king. - Find a balance between both - there are a lot more nutritional benefits to the one on the left, but having the one on the right from time to time - especially if your nutrition is in check overall, will have ZERO negative effects. - Some might argue that the "bad" choice might actually keep you on track better because you're less likely to want to treat yourself after that. - Balance and moderation are key.
