Bench Day 531 3+ Day.. Upped weight by 10lbs and got the same amount of Reps as last cycle. So slight increase in strength. Not bad for being on KETO for over a month now. Overall Body weight has stayed about the same. As Fat to Muscle ratio adjust in my Favor. Day 22: Maximum effort on floor press today. These should get heavy. Front squat should be TOUGH, but not impossible to complete in one set. No belts, unless absolutely necessary, and stay tiiiight. Make sure you’re trying to beat your previous weight or reps on these accessory movements! Beware of form on straight arm pull downs. This is a commonly butchered movement. You should have a forward lean, toward the cable pulley, bending at the hips. Arms extended all the way overhead. A hard squeezed from the lats should be performed through the entire range of motion. If you do pullovers, also, beware of form, as it’s easy to butcher these too! Look up some form videos, if necessary. Pull-ups/pull downs should have a hard focus on the lats and lower traps. You can do these on a pull down machine or even with regular body weight pull ups. Close grip lat pull downs: . This primarily targets the middle of your lats and back as well as your inner biceps . Changing your grip on workouts can activate more of the muscle and help to new muscle growth.

Leg day w/ @mitchell_condon ——————————————————— Tough and heavy session with my bro a few weeks ago, haven’t posted in a while as I’ve taken a little break from lifting but I’m back! Going to be focusing on leg work and power over the next few months. So here are a few clips from the leg day😌 - 140 for 2 x 2 squats after various weighted lower sets - 160 for a single (matching my PB from the summer) - 200kg sumo deadlift (was actually happy with this as I’ve never done it before so anything would’ve been a PB, didn’t expect to pull this kind of weight though!) - Maxing out the leg extension machine for 10 explosive reps, held on the last one On another note, here’s a video of my brother @oscar_waite from @ojfitt getting a squat PB at 185kg from our session Wednesday - keep the hard work up mate💪🏼

If you haven’t been you must go and check them out. ⁣ I find the music, the atmosphere, the way that the gym is laid out works so well.
