BABY FRICKEN FRIDAY! . We’re almost there you guys. Hang in there! Make today a good day. Do something that will bring you joy. . Video featuring me doing some really terrible knee pushups but I’m trying so 🤷🏻‍♀️. Shout out to @jacqfitlife for suckering me into doing a push up challenge & to @giving_up_the_quit for joining me in doing some this morning! . Thursday’s are circuits most weeks for us, especially in November in honor of Movember! Gotta get those moves in. Also, little throwback Thursday action... that guy on the far left of the second picture? It’s @dave.thorpe.79 and he had a huge part in this journey of mine. I reached out to him, way before I’d call him a friend like I do now, and asked him for help in the gym. I had been working on losing weight for a couple months but wanted to incorporate exercise. I had no idea where or how to start and he came to the gym with me and worked with me. Helped me find ways to move when everything was difficult at that point, had no judgement (that he made out loud 😂) and encouraged me to keep going. He had made a presentation to our team a few months prior offering to help anyone in any way for their health and I honestly don’t think I’d ever have found the love I have for the gym without him making it clear he was open to helping out and guiding me in those early days of my journey. Estas semanas han sido locas y me ha tocado viajar mucho, razón por la cual no he podido entrenar todos los días como me gusta... y que le vamos a hacer, la vida del emprendedor es así. Pushing Yourself Always Makes You Stronger! I couldn’t even do 1 push-up two years ago. My upper body was weak because I never worked on it. I started developing strength when I did wall push-ups. For all my mamas who need some help building up to a push-up, try what I did. Start with: a WALL push-up. The Rule of Thumb is: If you can do 10 WALL push-ups, move up a level to an INCLINE push-up. If you can do 10 INCLINE push-ups, move up a level to a KNEE push-up & so forth until you get to a PUSH-Up. If I can do it, you can do it! Let’s step it up together mamas!
