We use them daily as reasons why we can’t achieve our results...

I don’t know if my legs were supposed to feel that dead, but they groaned throughout this entire workout!
Goal: 13.5 miles total with 20 mins at 6:10, 15 mins at 6, and 10 at sub 6.
Actual: not even close! 6:15s for the first 20 (not bad), 6:25s for 15 (at least it’s faster than current MP ability), and 6:30-5 for the last 10 (hmm...). That’s all they had, folks!
Probably had something to do with the 92 mile week last week. But now is the time to try to work hard on dead legs! If you’re doing a mid-June marathon, you should be hitting at or about your peak mileage NOW so that when you hit it again later you’ll be strong enough to do workouts like this within that high mileage! #imnotthereyet#butgettingthere 😊
