The most improved part of my physique is defo my legs. Quad separation and feathering of the VMO... yet I still need to build my sweep. Then I will be able to compete with the open heavyweights!!!

Friday Morning Hamstrings, made it through the full workout alive! I didn't film the workout today as it's the exact same as last weeks hamstring workout, minus the 45lbs chain during SLDL.
I think I'm slowly starting to accept that I'm not going to make any progress in weight and/or reps from this point on. I really enjoy progressive overload, working my way up, slowly getting a bit stronger each workout.
I could always throw in some Heavy Androgens and force the Strength to Progress, but I'm happy where I'm at right now. Don't want to injure myself because I'm too Hyped Up setting PR's. I have a little voice in the back of my head telling me to do 1 more rep after every rep, Androgens make that voice Scream! 😡
Yesterday I ended up with around 250g extra carbs from White Rice & Quinoa. In a Carb-Cycling approach this would be considered a High Day for a guy my size. Medium would be 150g and Low 50g Carbs. I'm doing Keto so the Carbs come into play only when I absolutely need them. The workout went as expected, enough energy for the usual weights and reps, drained when I left the gym!
Carbohydrate consumption is kinda like a card game, you play the right cards to keep you in the game. Then when the pot is full, you play the Face Cards you were saving 😁
That goes for Steroids too, only use the strong cosmetic ones the closer you get to the show. Not doing a contest? Stick to the Numbered Cards (Anabolics) and keep the Faces (Androgenics) for when there's something to WIN!

Morning walks have become a routine for me in the last few weeks. Anything you do consistently enough becomes second nature, the tough bit is getting started.
1️⃣ Getting my steps in early means less later! If I do what I need to do early, I don’t need to rely on my willpower later when I’m EXHAUSTED from work, making the dinner, bathing kids or hanging washing!
2️⃣ Walking sets me up for the day, it clears my head. It allows me space to reflect, relax, plan and to think. .
3️⃣ While walking I can reply to my emails, DMs and write IG posts with double leverage (getting my steps in too!) .
4️⃣ Walking is a great tool for curbing hunger... delaying my breakfast until 8am
5️⃣ I find it tough to make myself walk or to make myself train if it isn’t done first thing or if I haven’t organised to meet a friend.
Where will you walk to tomorrow morning? Even if you just park the car further from the office, that’s a win too!!

Throwback Thursday to my first NPC Bodybuilding Competition. I have prepped and worked hard for many things in my life but nothing was more exhilarating than competing in my first show. :
The amount of time, dedication, and discipline needed to prep for show is unlike anything else. I learned so much about myself through out my journey, things I will hold onto and apply to any endeavour I choose to take on in my life. Prioritising my schedule was huge. Close to the show, including cardio and weightlifting, I was putting close to 22 hours a week in the gym. I was dedicating so much time to the gym while working a full job and taking an accounting class. :

program truly taught me the most in terms of discipline, hard work, motivation, control, and much more. I have always had a negative relationship with food. I struggled with binge eating to cope with the emotional ups and downs in my life. Since Brandy’s plan I see food as fuel ⛽️! Even though sometimes I fall off of the bandwagon and indulge and binge on pizza or candy (my guilty pleasures) I have changed my mindset so 95% of the time I binge on veggies!
If you had asked me 2 years ago If I would go on stage some short ass shorts in from of hundreds of people my answer would have been....wait, is that a joke? You are too funny!! Being on stage was an opportunity to show my couches, family, friends, and most importantly myself how proud I am to be where I am at not only in my body, my confidence, my self love, but my overall happiness towards life! I am so blessed and have so much gratitude for my journey and I am excited for my future! .
