The first thing that I saw today on insta was a post by @vishalaneti .Got to know that's it's #chutney day today .It got me thinking do try something new .Opened the fridge and there in one corner were 2 plums and some apples ..First I had thought of some savoury chutney but did not find the right ingredients in the fridge but when my eyes fell on those juicy plums I had to try something with it . . A combination of plums and apples sounded good but I wanted to add something Indian to it , so went with my instincts. And the result was amazing ..Sweet ,sour ,spicy and vibrant..😍😍😍 . . Loved it ,had with a slice of toasted bread and further with plain Dosa also 😊... . . Recipe : I didn't measure all the ingredients .Just eyeball it . 2 plums chopped finely 1 medium size apple grated 1inch piece ginger grated 1to 2tbsp brown sugar About 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar Salt to taste A big pinch of Garam masala and Cinnamon powder Little red chilli powder Little water if required . This morning's smoothie bowl. My favourite so far, this one was gorgeous to eat. That pink strawberry smoothie, the vibrant pink dragonfruit, the flowers, the crunch and chocolate flavour of the cacao nibs. The blueberries create swirls of deep purple as you're eating. I forgot to add protein so had to have it separately but the smoothie flavour was perfect without it. - - Smoothie: 1/2 cup strawberries 1/2 pink dragonfruit 2 TBSN chia seeds 3 TBSN @coyo_is_coconuts natural coconut yoghurt 1 tsp maca powder 1 tsp @melrosehealth Kickstart MCT oil - Toppings: Viking Organic frozen wild blueberries Pink dragonfruit Cacao nibs Hemp hearts True cinnamon powder (helps balance blood sugar) Matcha powder (the green tea helps the liver detox, you just need a little) Pansies Sweet william flower - All organic except the MCT oil and the Matcha powder. - I buy most of my food from @terramadreorganics , so with the dry items above I get what I need from the bulk bins (so good because they're low cost and you're just using paper bags, no packaging) and the strawberries and dragonfruit l get in 1 kg bags from the freezers. The more we do this, the easier it becomes to effortlessly make right choices. The more we suppress and deny aspects of ourselves, the harder it is to master our choices.

Happy Soul day!!! Sunday's are for... PLANNING ... the week, the meals, the routines, planning helps you BE successful and it takes TIME!!! . Here are some ideas for Planning when it comes to MEALS and MENUS!!!!! 1. BUY IN BULK: it will help you save money. When buying meat (such as chicken breast) in bulk, before placing them in the deep freeze, I portion them out to how I know I’ll be prepping them and freeze them in their individual ziplock bags. For example, if I buy the 10-15 packs of chicken breast, I’ll freeze them in 2s or 4s depending if I’ll be meal prepping for just myself or for myself and my partner. Down below is a list of things that you can buy in bulk. Be sure to store them in airtight containers or freezer friendly ziplock bags if they require freezing. Here’s what I buy in bulk: rice, quinoa, pasta, meat, stock bases, dried beans and lentils, frozen, vegetables such as corn, peas, etc, frozen fruit (for smoothies) oats spices 2. PLAN, PLAN, PLAN! Plan out what you’re going to eat that week and break it down to see what you can cook ahead – for example, if chicken is on sale, pre-cook your chicken and alternate between prepping chicken salad, chicken pasta, and chicken wraps for the week. You could also switch it up and put some of that chicken in an omelette for breakfast! 3. USE MULTIPLE METHODS OF COOKING: For example, you can start by making a freezer friendly chili in your slow cooker, cook some chicken in an Instant Pot, have sweet potato, asparagus, and broccoli baking in the oven, and rice cooking in the rice cooker and/or quinoa cooking on the stovetop. 4. MAKE A DOUBLE BATCH OF DINNER AND LEARN HOW TO REPURPOSE LEFTOVERS 5. COOK STAPLES IN BATCHES Similar to buying in bulk, you can cook your staples in bulk if you don’t want to meal prep entire meals in one go. For example if you cook chicken in bulk, you can shred it and place it in an airtight container in the fridge and use it for wraps, salads, and more! . .
