Don’t kid yourself... if you want to perform at a high level, you are putting your health on the line. When we are younger, there is a lot our bodies can take. But be aware that you are writing a code into your body. You are telling your body how to react in the future, setting yourself up to be more prone to injuries in some areas. Don’t misunderstand me: Injuries will come anyway, so you better learn how to deal with them - physically and mentally.
Figure out the weaknesses in your body, then educate it, establish normal function first, then improve on it.
No amount of motivation Videos on instagram or more of the same shit you always did will do. You are strong/flexible/skilled AND in pain? Don’t be a badass. Get assessed and look for something outside of your routine... #adifferentkindofmotivation #real #mobility #polemicaf #movement
