And with this extract from Saturday's wedding, this season comes to an end. Kelley and Oliver had a really special wedding, full of beauty, bathed in the best end of summer's light, embraced by the people closest to them. It was a real dream come true and i want to show it off! *
But first, a little moment of reflection and thankfulness is in order! No, I haven't won any award and this feels like an acceptance speech, I know... but there are things I need to say, so bear with me! *
I have had some full 5 months to say the least, a suitcase always half unpacked in the corner of the room, many nights away from my kids, but also a lot of lovely couples who handed me the biggest event they had thrown in their lives and believed me when I told them I had it under control and this means so much to me.
I can't be thankful enough to all of who trusted my vision, my taste and well, me. I don't take it lightly and I approach every day I get to do this as a great honor and gift. *
I can't thank enough my sweet husband, that made this possible, sustaining our family with hard work while I chased my dreams, and still today stands beside me and supports me through the good and bad. And to our families that are the best support group we could ask for and don't complain ever when they are on baby sitting duty :)
This job has become my life and the people I share it with have become my closest friends. I am so grateful for the human connections I get to make, behind a computer and across the country and the world. *
And now, on to some fun fall/winter editorials and on many very promising events to plan for the next season!
