One of the things I enjoy most about my career in recruiting is how much I have learned. Whether it's people, trends, metrics, personality testing, compliance, software, marketing etc there's always someway to improve upon the aforementioned.
One of the things I think we don't do enough in the staffing and talent acquisition industry is collaborate amongst each other. However, I feel good about the trajectory we are headed in this area with the growing use of social media. We are competitive, type A , people for the most part, and a lot of us were trained this way. I luckily had mentorship that taught me this reality, but to strive to be great as well as helpful.
