adivinha o que é e de onde vem essa bebida? 🥤guess what and where this drink is from? 🤔
this glass came from our house. this is a frappuccino from starbucks. it has no animal ingredients nor disposable plastic
involved. why does it matter? BECAUSE IT IS POSSIBLE TO BE VEGAN ANYWHERE. IT IS POSSIBILE TO SAY NO TO PLASTIC ANYWHERE. What do you need to make this changes? consciousness, patience and unconditional love towards the place you live in and the beings that share it with you. This place called Earth, know it? 💚🌎 there’s a glass in every home. there’s a starbucks or similar in every corner. is there goodwill in you? Leo (who’s so happy that he was the one who took this photo 😊📸) and I believe you have it in you 🌿🌟 ps: starbucks here gives you a discount if you bring your cup from home 🤗

In love with the new ‘Thank You’ postcards I got to put in orders. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Made from recycled card and printed using a Risograph. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ An environmentally friendly printer that uses soy-based inks, is energy efficient and produces very little waste. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Oh, and they’re made in Manchester too!🐝 www.triplextension.com
Recently I've gotten a lot into sewing, embroidery and mending my socks. That might sound weird, after all it's not really what 16 year olds typically do in their free time, but it's not only fun - it's important, too! Because by repairing your clothes you can save resources, there is no need to buy new socks or a new shirt or new pants! You can mend the socks and decorate and repair both the shirt and the pants with cool patches or embroidery!
I really like doing that because it is a way you can express a lot of creativity and at the same time it has something very calming and meditative: You can do embroidery and still talk to people, sing, listen to music or just do embroidery only!
I bought one of these circular frames for embroidery as well as some threads for both mending and embroidery. The rest, such as scraps of fabric for some practice, I had at home or I found it on the internet, i.e. instructions for certain stitches.

We want your good stuff - the multiple sets of China, that bread machine collecting dust in the garage, the tool chest with mysterious gadgets passed down from your next door neighbor, Aunt Bee's collection of costume jewelry.
We want to take these treasures and, by selling them through our Thrift & Gift Shop, turn them into clothing & school supplies for kids in need, or college scholarships for single parents so that they can provide a better future for their family, or SAT and ACT college prep classes to help high school students be better prepared to chase their dreams. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Donations are accepted during our regular business hours: Wed through Sat from 10 to 3 PM.
Beautiful idea for Small washroom 👌
Myanmar. We are extremely resilient as a people even in the harshest of times. A mentality of people from third world countries is that we don't take things for granted. My grandparents and parents generation come from a time of socialism (1962 - 1988) and then as a child WE come from a time of sanctions (1988...). In socialist times there was basically 1 type of toothpaste, "shampoo", very basic rough soap bars (because no export, imports) SO! a can of spam, baked beans or butter from America brought back by a foreigner friend would be such a luxury that my greatgrandparents would store in "the special cupboard" and bring it out only for special occasions. Great grandpa was a sauce person (like me!) that mustard, HP sauce/ Lea and Perrins sauce were absolute treasures for him being memories of his times in England or USA. In those days only Embassy staff were allowed to bring these things and locals can only buy foreign goods from them.
Based on this history, as a culture we always bring steel containers or boxes from home for takeaways from restaurants because back in the days with lack of resources - restaurants, curry houses or teahouses didn't have boxes to pack food for you - they didn't even have plastic bags yet (can pack in big leaves though). For these reasons, bringing my own bottle like this for an iced coffee is nothing new to me. It's not about zero waste/ or the environment. (It's a great initiative and I fully support it!) But it happens to be a habit passed down through generations. I still strongly believe it to be a valuable habit. So you can laugh, but I'll still be reusing ice cream boxes and butter containers and even disposal spoons . We will still be selling newspapers to the people who use them to make bags for street food and I'll always have a big basket handy for marketdays
Past and history aside, I do think the the education about the importance of protecting the environment needs to be pushed more (as alot of heroes are now) even though some communities are so poor and busy struggling day to day that they dont have the time to understand the impact of littering etc...But I trust we'll get there.#latte #recycle #environment #earth
