We are excited to announce our second collaborative dinner with @grown_bne
On the 7th of November, we are creating a unique 5 course plant based dinner here at Flock. The night will feature all of our favourite local growers such as @loop.growers @neighbourhoodfarm @littleacremushrooms
and will include a special guest talk by Micah, one half of Neighbourhood Farm.

Every now and again (ok most days) we get great big reminders that this local, sustainable and fair food movement is well worth the slog.
That the extra effort in sourcing what's seasonal is AN INVESTMENT. That knowing our farmers and producers is building a COMMUNITY. And that responsibly dealing with our waste is ESSENTIAL.
And when fabulous people like @uglyduckpreserves
get a whopping big order from The Moreton Bay Council to make 350 jars of jam from what would have been discarded local fruit. We literally do happy dances.
Because, damn, we are in good company!

We are so thankful, grateful and blessed by everyone that have come tonight but also to everyone that through our post have spread the news.. The post has gone beyond any expectation...
We are very humbled by all the amazing support... We will be open from Tuesday to Sunday for pre dinner drinks... Late night drinks.. Some small plates and nibbles will be available for the hungry ones.... Tapas menu will be available in a few weeks.
Thank you to my husband Flori for the amazing work he has done to make all this possible.. But also to everyone that somehow have been involved in the making of it... To Tony and team from Runtime for the beautiful photos and French doors, to Duane from Redcliffe framing of some special paintings, David for his helping hand with our soft ceiling and to Carlo for his help in the kitchen this afternoon.
