Lets assess the first half for the Reds. A brutal 3-18 start put the Reds in a huge hole. The Reds have been as low as 20 games under .500 at one point. Now, the Reds sit 43-53, an even 10 games under. The Reds are a new team under Jim Riggleman, hustling on every play, the dugout celebrations, and just the 40-38 record under Riggleman show that. This is probably the best I’ve felt as a Reds fan since 2013. Now, it’s really unknown who will be traded and who won’t be. Only one that we are pretty sure of is Matt Harvey. Adam Duvall, Billy Hamilton, and Raisel Iglesias are all possible trade candidates. If the Reds can play at least .500 baseball this season, they can finish 76-86. That would be the best record they’ve had since 2014. What are your thoughts on this first half, and what moves do you think will be made?
