Tomato basil red sauce wheat spiral pasta or Fusili for today’s breakfast, kids friendly so mommy friendly ,yummy, delicious fusili 🤪 if you keep your sauce ready it will just take 10 to 15 mts of your time .
Cooking these Little spindles:
Boil enough water add salt and few drops of oil and put these pasta let it cook for 5 mts check if it’s cooked and take it off from boiling water and add a cup of cold water to stop it from over cooking keep it aside.
Preparation of sauce : in a pan heat olive oil or butter add 1 whole chopped onions, 1 whole garlic skin peeled fry it till the onions become soft now add 3 to 4 chopped tomatoes, ground black pepper, salt and chilli flakes a dash of sugar, Stir the mixture regularly and cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy. Then add the roughly chopped fresh basil leaves (can also use store bought) and mix well add Italian herbs I use store bought , cool the mixture and grind it very fine thick paste, now filter this and keep this aside , you can prepare this sauce and refrigerate for 4 to 5 days.
Making of pasta:
In the same sauce pan add a spoon of olive oil and fry 1 onion chopped, baby tomato halved , 1 capsicum chopped , florets of broccoli , black olives, baby corns, any veggies u like but don over cook ur veggies just a stir fry add dash of salt,
Add the pasta sauce mixture and toss well to coat and add the pasta mix well with the sauce .
you can just add some shredded parmesan cheese for ur kids which will make it more tasty and appetising 😋😋
Just mix and match with ur veggies as per ur kids taste.
