I’m back from my mini spontaneous social media detox + I’m enjoying the fruits of the time this detox freed up. This is my first attempt at Jackfruit Lasagna, well any lasagna actually. Made with a homemade cashew ricotta + a ton of love.💚
As I kick my feet up + enjoy this while Luna naps (moms know) I can’t help but reflect on the last 48 hours off of social. You don’t notice how much time you waste staring at a screen until you objectively watch yourself when you stop. My days went from chaotic + disorganized, into structured + accomplishing + all I removed was social media. In this time my house got a full; spring-cleaning-deep-dive-overhaul. I was able to dedicate some mama self care time with bath ritual, massage + binaural beat upleveling as well as go to the gym, make this bomb vegan lasagna + reflect on the direction life is shifting me. •
Some of us are on social bc it’s our job, while others go on it LIKE IT IS but it’s not. We put soul much precious time into platforms sometimes + forget that disconnecting with the inner webs will help you connect with your inner BEING, your intuition, your inner voice.
It was downloaded that a lot of childhood trauma was going to come this new year, through my girl @ecodominatrix
I believe. + as I was doing some reflecting + learning, I noticed that I wasn’t addressing vital traumas bc I didn’t feel like they were traumatic enough. If you read my labor story you know that I have a tendency of repressing negativity as “not a big deal”. I mask it with “no biggie” but really I do, a lot.
It’s been coming up in the form of dreams, conversations, even day visions. @thehoodhealer
said it best as soon as I logged on, ‘heal your inner child soul that we can meet our highest self.’ Let go of watching others accomplish their goals + focus on your lane + your goals. We ain’t getting anywhere looking at how another person is driving in theirs. Oouufff what a way to be brought back to the social realm, with confirmation that this work is needed!🌱
