Banana 🍌and date smoothie bowl for breakfast after a hard swim session🏊♀️. I used 2 large frozen bananas and 3 small pitted dates. blend with splash of water and topped with homemade granola, spreads, cocoa nibs and goji berries
This morning on the way back from swimming there was a segment on veganism on the radio.
One part was talking about a recent activist protest in a steak house. They were talking about how it was inappropriate to walk into a family dining place where there were children. And the second part talked about how most fruits and veggies aren’t vegan because of bee keeping.
As you can probably tell this is simply omnivores retaliating to acts of protest. We need to find a new approach one that doesn’t make omnivores want to purposely do the opposite of what we say.
What are your thought on this?

As a former Southern California beach girl, I never tire of the magic that is autumn! So I can't help it... there are 2 pictures of me in a row (gasp!) surrounded by obscene amounts of leaves! 🍁🍂🍁 and with some deep reflections about life.
Today I went on a very casual hike appropriately with the same name of the park I used to live near in 🗽New York City, and what was extra amusing?... as an older couple passed me on the trail, they smiled and commented that they don't understand how people in big cities could survive without "this" in their lives.
I smiled back and said, "well, I can tell you how that feels because I did it for over 10 years, and not having regular access to nature was more debilitating to my entire energetical system than I realized. And no, Central Park does not count in the same way." Alas.
I hope today you can find a place that feeds your soul, and gives you the nourishment to be bold and beautiful for the week ahead!
