Stretch of the week. ➡️ Pectoral Stretch! Tight pectoral muscles can be the result of poor posture, weight lifting, or simple daily activities. ➡️ To stretch the chest muscle, take a small towel and hold it behind your back. Standing straight with good posture, raise the towel behind your back until you feel a stretch in the front of your chest. ➡️ Alternatively, stand in a door way (as in the photo above) and place your forearm on the frame at a 90-degree angle to your upper arm. ➡️ Gently turn your body away from the frame until you feel a slight chest stretch.
The Forward Head, also known as “Tech Neck”, is a posture characterized by the protrusion of the head.⠀
This is often due to many hours spent looking down at your cellphone or spending lots of time in front of a computer.⠀
A forward head posture causes tension, stiffness and pain in your neck, shoulders and back.⠀

Yesterday I share with you the more active type of practices that I did to recover from my l5 S1 injury.
I wanted to also share the more passive type of practices that I have been doing to help me create more space in between l5 S1 joint.
I am performing four different asanas.
First Asana is a modified version of child's pose. I will use a pillow to create pressure in my abdomen then I will breathe deep into my diaphragm and with the help of my diaphragm I'll be pushing the pillow against my thighs that because that creates boundary and makes my lower back increase in size creating an inside pressure done
by my diaphragm and organs two words the whole lower back. This feels great, also might wanna make you fart. 💨💨💨 The second exercise is about creating a little arch in my lower back, in that way I bend away from the actual injury. this might be one of the exercises that every single human should practice as it could be the best passive counter pose for sitting, something that we do quite a lot. Here I am also performing a large intestine massage to move a bit more what I moved in child pose 🤔💩 The third exercise it's called bananasana. 🍌😂The idea is to create a gentle compression of one side and a gentle decompression of the other side. I actually did it both ways left and right even though my injury was on the posterior right side. It felt good, so I kept doing it 🤷🏽♂️ The last pose is Viparitakarani. These pose is a great one to bring the flow of blood down from the legs, but also it creates a gentle pressure in the sacrum area. In that way helping to readjust it in forward bent position.💆🏽♂️ I also go a suggestion to adjust my sacrum from the inside of the rectum, I guess I will not post that video 🙅🏽♂️🙊🤭 it actually feels amazing 🤷🏽♂️ I will be posting more videos about my rehab hoping that this can maybe help at least one person on their journey to words healthy body.
