I’ve always loved Amphibians and Reptiles, having the privilege of observing and photographing many over my years in the tropics. @cocobolonature
always has a special place in my heart as a location of wonderful diversity and where I’ve been taught quite a lot about the field of Herpetology.
Loving our Easter hatchling ❤️
Keep in tune with us and our Clothing Brand it’ll help fund the Sanctuary for reptiles near extinction. ❤️🐲🐘🦎🐉🐍🐼🌴
Sometimes we make unexpected bonds. Preface: I have never liked snakes.
This is Leiba, my daughters ball python. Our daughter Reaghan is nine years old (and age appropriately irresponsible) and out of necessity I had become Leiba’s reluctant caretaker and she had become a reluctant curiosity. Fast forward several months and although we are still both trying to understand our relationship we have learned to trust and dare I say enjoy one another. We are dangerously close to becoming “friends” although I think we both understand the profound nature of the beast in both of us. Night by night we do this same dance and we are both learning to be waltz partners. Cheers to growing as humans and being open to all new experiences! .

In celebration of Earth Day, I would like to feature this Oriental Garden Lizard, basking under the sun and just chilling. The little guy was spotted in Kota Damansara Community Forest Reserve among the bush. If it wasn't for the redness around its body, I wouldn't have notice it.
Note: the body changes colour depending on its mood.
met Ollie the Olive Python today at @bunnings #Gympie
and he was magnificent and super strong but warm and soft. Gentle giant. Thanks to Reptiles 2 U
